It was lovely to be able to have a meal with our two greyhounds and have a table in a corner where the hounds could lay down and spread without getting in anybody's way.

One of my favourite pubs, any time of the year. It’s especially cosy around this time though, and the venison with wild mushrooms and fried squash was one of those meals I wish would never end.

Superb food and friendly staff. Nice little playground for kiddies. Chicken supreme tagliatelle was the best pasta dish I've had in decades! Outstanding

Very nice gastro with a garden and wetlands backdrop. Wide choice of food - we can recommend the Thai red curry and prawns while my daughter enjoyed roast beef. Good food, excellent service and good value.

A pleasant pub with attentive staff. The problem is with all UK eateries they’re all so terribly overpriced for what you get. Trust me I’ve worked and lived all over the world, 133 countries, and UK is the rip-off capital of the world. People oft quote Venice as expensive and compared with the rest of Italy it is but it’s cheaper than the UK! The Brits have no idea how to complain. Complain by not paying the prices. Things will soon change!

This was a 5 star pace for having a lovely outdoor evening meal,with cows grazing right behind the fence. Great children's play area, too!

Great hidden gem, popped in on a Friday evening on the way home from Devon, staff were
accommodating and fitting us in when 2 other places were too busy.
Food was excellent and plenty of good beers to choose from, will definitely be returning!

Excellent gastro pub. Great outdoor area with playground for children. Generous portions with fair price. We are regulars and always looked after well by Martin and Kamil and their attentive team members. Highly recommended.

Have been to this restaurant on a few occasions over the past few years.
Always Impressed with the food, hot tasty, giid size portions and well presented. Service is always good and staff friendly and helpful.
Would recommend for both lunch and dinner.
