Marx Hot Bagels

We always look for decent bagels wherever we travel. NYC, Montreal, throughout Europe, we search for and try the local bagels. We’ve been to Cincinnati 100 times and have tried all the other bagel joints. Marx is undoubtedly the best. You are simply not going to get better bagels in Ohio. The olive-horseradish cream cheese is especially delicious. Keep up the good bagel work. Will be back!

I go here every other week for a bakers dozen of bagels because my family loves them. I’ve come to trust Marx to have a consistently amazing product. Out of the hundreds of bagels i’ve eaten here, there was one I had an issue with- I emailed them at the email address provided on their website and they immediately resolved the issue, providing me with a refund not only for the bagel that had an issue- but the whole dozen I purchased. There aren’t many businesses like this anymore!

Wow This was one awesome Bagel experience! Where else can you find such a big variety of bagels and spreads! The Tuna Fish salad here is the only tuna I eat, it is soooo good! The owner will sometimes even come and say hi to us, he is a really kind individual. The bagels are always toasted to perfection, and the smoothies are spectacular. Definitely check this place out and thank me later!

🥯 As I sat there enjoying my fresh bagel from Marx Bagels, I couldn't help but wonder - what is happening to me?! Will I ever love the food in my hometown again? Maybe not. As a self-proclaimed bagel (and coffee) pro, I can confidently say that Marx Bagels in Cincinnati is a top-notch bagel shop that should not be missed by any locals or travelers. They offer all of the classic varieties - plain, sesame, poppy seed - that any bagel aficionado would expect, but they also have unique options that I've never seen back home. The bagels themselves are simply delicious. They are chewy and dense, with just the right amount of crust on the outside. They are also large! And they give you a ton of shmear as well! I mean a massive amount. If that is not your thing, I am sure they will tone it down for you. Overall, I highly recommend checking out Marx Bagels if you're in Cincinnati. As a bagel (and coffee) pro, I can assure you that you won't be disappointed.
