Pho Kimmy

We just relocated here from another state that sadly was lacking a terrific Vietnamese option anywhere close to we had been accustomed to in San Francisco. We tried Pho Kimmy the other night and fell in love all over again! The Flank Steak Pho & Combo bahn mi were so excellent we ordered them again the next night. The BBQ Shrimp & Beef vermicelli we had on the second night was so delicious both myself and my husband were caveman growling with each bite! Thank you for back to back delights Pho Kimmy, you’ll be seeing us regularly ♥️

Food is great! I love their pho, banh mi, and grilled pork rice plate. I like to order from here on the way to work for a delicious affordable dinner for night shift. They are quick and right by the freeway. Customer service is a bit lacking. Last time I went, I wanted something to warm me up and soothe my throat. I ordered a jasmine tea and had to ask for it a few times. By the time I got it, I was half way through my meal and it was extremely oversteeped/bitter -- even watering it down could not help it.

I like getting little bites here. My favorites are popcorn chicken and goi cuon. I also like the smoothies, but there’s only one person who makes it really good and they dont work everyday. I have dined in and ordered to go and both times the food came out fast. They are informal here. Very chill atmosphere.

Very good food, surprisingly good. The bread for the bahn mi must have been baked that day. The Special Combination pho was loaded with meat, I got the medium bowl which was plenty for one person. The spring rolls were large and made to order. Moving back to Cincinnati after years of living in SF and NYC I was worried that it would be hard to find a good authentic Vietnamese place that stood up to some of the best I’ve had but Pho Kimmy does an excellent job.
