This was an awesome experience. First off thanks to the owner for helping us through our first experience here. We had the half and half pot. One spicy and one bone broth. We had a meter of beef along with pork meatballs and shrimp dumplings with noodles and an egg. Also had a milk tea which was a first and delicious.

This review is for Bao Bun Bowl, which is the same owner as Noodle & Hot Pot next door. I'll be adding it as a missing location on map.
This review is based on their soft grand opening. June 30th, July 1&2, all their noodle bowls are 50% off.
Went there around 5:30pm on Sunday. They had 2 tables with people and 2 in line waiting to order. It took 10 minutes before we got to order. I don't know if it's a bad computer set up, bad POS system, or lack of training, it shouldn't take 10 minutes to take the order of the 2 people in front of us.
After ordering 3 noodle bowls and some sides we sat down next to their portable AC unit set at 81 degrees. The place had no AC and it was almost 90 degrees out. Again, I know it's a soft opening, but the AC should definitely be working.
Our side dishes of Tea Eggs and braised beef came out in a few minutes. The tea eggs were cold but tasty. The braised beef was about 10 very thinly sliced beef kind of just thrown on a small plate. It was very dry, not presentable, and definitely not worth $6.50.
Another 5 minutes or so, our noodle bowls came out 1 at a time. We sat there and waited for everything to come out before we started eating because there were no utensils or napkins. They also had no water because the machine was not installed yet so we had to buy bottle waters for
$.50 each.
The noodles came out in big bowls but was half filled. Although it was flavorful, my wife's noodles had maybe 2 table spoons worth of sauce on it. My pork ribs noodles was also half full. The noodles were soft and overcooked. The soup was tasteless so I had to add chili oil, salt, and vinegar. There were 4 small rib pieces in the soup equaling about 1 full rib piece. The third bowl of noodles was the braise beef noodle soup. Same beef that I ordered on the side, except there were only 6 thinly slices of beef with the same soup base.
Although it was $5 because of the soft opening, i would never pay $10 for any of those bowls nor $6.50 for a side side. Their regular prices being on the pricey side, i expected bigger portions of food.
The owners are the same as the hot pot place they are attached to. The bubble teas in there are $6.75! I don't think I'll be going back there for awhile even though it was their soft opening. I'll wait for them to get things right first and check their reviews as time goes by before I'll give them another chance.

Unique and a very authentic experience of Chinese food that you cook yourself inside a hot soup with raw ingredients that you order from the menu. Ingredients are fresh and provide health choices , prices are more than reasonable and the experience is very nice. For adventurous people.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE! Think of it as an Asian version of "the melting pot" restaurant with just the entree portion but scaled up. Many have never experienced something like this so it will feel incredibly awkward and strange at first. My recommendation is LET THEM KNOW YOU HAVE NOT DONE THIS BEFORE AND TAKE THEIR ADVICE! First of all this is not a place for just two people looking for a dining option. Its a LOT of food they give you. Bring a group of people with you that are willing to keep an open mind and try something new. This also helps with the cost as our meal was $55 because of all the extras we ordered. Try the dual broth pot your first time to give you a second option. Do NOT order too many vegetables or meats the first time. DO listen to their recommendations on the sauce and seasoning bar. The suggestions they made turned into a new favorite combination I never would have tried before. And while you are eating just remember you are experiencing a different culture from a different land. Don't judge.

A brand new place that just opened. One of the best places for authentic Chinese food in Cincinnati. Normally you can only get this kind of food in a big city like New York or San Francisco. We had the noodles today but tried the hotpot a couple days ago and it was great as well. The owners are also very nice. Would definitely recommend!

OMG! I am so glad there is an authentic hot pot restaurant in town. Ordering is different. Choose the broth, then all the "toppings"and noodles. The hot pot is brought to your table and set on the burner and brought up to a medium simmer. All the fresh/raw "toppings" are brought out on individual plates and bowls. You add them in as you like. Definitly stop by the condiment bar and set up your dip. The bone broth is so satisfying. The cow fat broth is so spicy and delicious. Everything here is truly wonderful. They allso serve boba milk tea from the bakery next door. The flavors are amazing. Expect to pay about $30-40 per person but know you will enjoy every bite.

How does Hot Pot work
1.) You pick the soup either 3 different ones for 15.98 or 2 different ones for 13.98 my recommendation.
The price is not per person but total for the group.
Then you pick which meat, fish and vegetables you would like to have.
Do not order too many things because the portions are very big.
You can always order more things.
For 6 people we paid $57.98 for the Food and drinks 25.42 (The children had several of the more expensive teas)

I went there twice. The first time was good so I brought my parents and husband on the second time. But we got really sick after eating. We have been suffered from diarrhea all night and all day. My husband and I could not go to work. I went to more than 5 times to have diarrhea and almost died from dizziness and nausea. It was the worst day ever. My husband did too and he is still sick even though he took more medicine than I took.
I don’t know what exactly cause the sickness but when we age quail eggs the taste and smell was wrong. I and my husband thought it is just a exotic taste but I feel that it went bad. Be careful. For your information, I spent more than 170 dollars including tips for four people.
