Cakes & Pastries By George

I normally don't write reviews but on this one... I had too!! So today I went to this lovely place obv to get those infamous cupcakes. I called ahead to see if they had anything "seasonal" and was greeted by a cheerful voice. I got there and got the same treatment but I reached into my purse only to realize I had left my cash in the car. I went to my car then realized I locked my keys in the car!! They were very helpful and understanding and even offered if it was anything they could do. They really are a hidden gem. Even the people next door, i think its an Ameri-Stop helped! It was a mess but they made it better! Thank you a ton!! You just have no idea!

I absolutely love cupcakes and have tried many places.. I agree.. this place is DEFINITELY a gem that my family stubble upon looking for cupcakes on a Sunday for my nephews birthday...definitely the absolutely BEST cupcakes I've had in this city so far. SO unique, so moist, so fluffy...so yummy!!!!! The absolute best hands down.

Delicious!!! George's pastries are amazing and so tasty! Anything you get from George is delicious. George provided a cake (spectacular) and pastries for our daughter's wedding and we received so many compliments! His cupcakes are very tasty as well!!! I highly recommend George to anyone wanting to satisfy a sweet tooth for the day or those wanting to share these delicacies with others!!!!!! Unique - delicious - and the best!!! Worth the drive to the West Side!

How have I lived on the westside for almost 8 years and just today found out about this gem?? I mean, this man, if George is indeed who bakes, is a cake and pastry wizard. I bought 12 different items and every single one of them was divine. If you’re reading this, get in your car, right now, and go to this bakery. You will not regret it.

I have been a “not cake person” for 25 years of life. Cakes by George completely changes that statement about myself. Light, airy and delicious- you can’t go wrong with any cupcake flavor you choose. I literally salivate walking through the door. Cash or check only establishment- so have your wallet ready!

I stumbled on this place, and it remains to this day the best discovery I've ever made. This is hands down the best bakery in Cincinnati and even LA, where I lived before moving to Cincinnati. I have never had a cupcake like George's. Not only is it gorgeous to look at, it's even better to eat. The cake is so light and fluffy, and the frosting is flavorful and sweet without being greasy, heavy, or overpowering. Everything else is just as superb, from the Greek fudge to the baklava to the cream horns. I will never go anywhere else now that I've discovered George's. In fact, I will have trouble staying away!
