The Show On 42

The Show on 42 has been a staple in my life for over 30 years now. It has changed names many times in the past several years but always love my favorite bartender Casey and the staff. Food is pretty good for a bar. They have karaoke on Tuesday, Wednesday thru Sunday there will be some kind of musical performance going on that is always fun to see.

The best kept secret of Westchester:) This little bar is action pack with all kinds of killer local bands. The employees that work here, all work together, so you never do without. Dallas Moore is one of the hottest bands in Cincinnati. Their burgers are Phenomenal. If you get a chance stop by and ask for Cassie and Ben. You'll get the royal treatment.

The Show is wonderful. The bartenders are friendly (love Casey) and always kind. The food is excellent. Best hamburgers and chicken salad. Tuesday karaoke and Thursday thru Sunday usually a live band or acoustic guitar. Lots of TV's to watch all your favorite sports. The outside tables are a great place to meet up with friends especially in the summer..They are Covid compliant too.

We loved this place! Great menu selecting me. Our server was spot on and knowledgeable about the specialized beer menu. Nachos were crispy and plentiful with toppings. Breaded wings are fresh and full wings with all parts. The 42 house special sauce was the great combo of bbq and kick. Fish and chips were good. Hubby thought they were bland, I thought they were good since I don't like a fishy taste. Fries perfectly crisp on outside, tender on inside. All food was HOT coming our of kitchen! I had the experimental Tastes Like Summer ale. It was smooth and not hoppy. We will be back to try the burgers since that is what the place claims are the best. Plenty roomy inside, large deck. We went here for the first time a couple month ago around 5ish. They weren't busy yet, it was nice and quiet. The bartender/server was super friendly and helped us pick out good food. We ended up with the Fried Pickles as an appetizer(they make them fresh), the food was just tasty and delicious all around. Yes it does get loud inside as the night takes off, due to the bands playing and more people coming in but it's a bar.
