Patty's Old Fashioned Popcorn

I love stopping into Patty's Old Fashioned Popcorn whenever I'm in Hyde Park Square; it's such a throwback little shop with fun snacks, and not so surprisingly, they have fantastic popcorn! What I never expected was that Patty's would be integral to my wedding planning process as I started to identify welcome gifts for our out-of-town guests. As my goal was to put together an overflowing bag of Cincinnati goodness, Patty's staff worked with me on specialty/miniature popcorn bags (go-to flavor: Cincinnati style!). They were the perfect addition to our welcome bags. Don't go to Hyde Park without making a stop!

If you're a popcorn lover, don't pass this place up! So many varieties to try, so far all that we've tried are fantastic! The Cincy Style - white cheddar and carmel - has to be my favorite. We also have gifted some bags of popcorn to friends at Christmas. The interior of this store is so neat and you'll definitely be tempted by all the candy too. The owner is so friendly and fun to chat with. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Wonderful experience going in here and love the old-timey candy store vibes. They have EVERYTHING- jelly beans, chocolates, popcorn, caramels, sour candy, sweet candy, regular candy, and old candy you can't find anywhere like Chick o' Stick. The owner was in there when we stopped in (we live in neighborhood, walking by and smelled popcorn and went in) and he was soo knowledgeable about candy/candy manufacturing and gave great suggestions. He seemed willing to talk about any of the candy he has in his store and why he loves it! Will definitely be going back!

Our first visit was great, very friendly staff which helped us find some great popcorn gifts. The flavor we wanted was sold out, and they were made another batch while we waited. I finished about half the popcorn on my way back to Lexington but will definitely stop by the next time I am in Cincinnati.
