El Bracero

Wow. Flavor, variety, a combination of traditional and tex-mex in a nice setting. Each of the five meals was delicious. I had a burrito with chorizo and chicken drizzled in Mexican cheese with a delicious Verde sauce. I loved that salsa, the spice of the chorizo, and you could taste the pieces of chicken. She had a Chile relleno topped with salsa rojo and ground beef which had a truly unique and delicious flavor. Their salsa with the chips was fresh and spicy. Service was great. No wonder this El Bracero is popular! Our family her likes it as a top local restaurant. I'm sure we will return.

The food was better than what I remember from the last time I visited. I called 2x to put in an order so I wouldn't have to wait, but both times the phone was picked up and pretty much placed down....As you can see I'm like 2 mins in walking distance from them. I understand things get busy, but it was inconvenient for me to have to go there to put my order in and wait. The margarita was pretty watery not what I was use to. Lastly I ordered a wet grilled chicken burrito along with my carne asada fries but got a steak burrito.

Visited on a Tuesday for lunch and we were seated promptly. I noticed the table and floors were clean. The food was spot-on with large portions (did not order from lunch menu). Their spicy salsa could've been hotter but the taste was on point. Guacamole was chunky and and the standard salsa was fresh. Our drinks stayed full and the margarita was strong. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Worth the 25 min drive.
