I’ve eaten at many Asian restaurants before. & this place is a rip off , for the chicken with steak rice, it is a rip off! $21 for some overly cooked side vegetables that I was able to count with my fingers & their stem rice is not even up to par and the texture was as if it was not cooked fully. Go to Fujiyama which is about 10-15 mins away & you will get more Way More for Less Money. I don’t even know why my husband went there. As for the A’s for the California roll it was okay & the Dragon roll was okay, not even all that. I’ve tasted way better. & the calamari okay but not even crispy. So disappointing.

Went with my friends and family. Said they had it before and was really good. Service was excellent. Her name is Daisy and she did a wonderful job of making sure we had everything we needed. Wish I can say the same about the food. Too salty for my taste. Family said they must was having a off night because the food was bad for them too and they had better food here before. Maybe I'll reluctantly give them another try.

Called ahead and was told there was an hour wait. No problem, headed up and put our name on the list. Sat in the bar for sushi and a drink while waiting. The bar staff was pleasant. Was told our sushi may not be ready before our table was. The sushi did actually arrive before we were seated and was very good.. So, had a few drinks (which were very weak) and some other people came in with the same amount in their groups as we had, just 2. 3 other groups of 2 people that came in after us were all seated before we were. We ended up waiting 2 hours to be seated. While at the bar, a member of the wait staff was overheard saying that the Hostesses were known to pick and chose who to seat first. When we were finally seated, the cooked asked how long we waited and when we said 2 hours he laughed and said next weekend will be 3 hours. We have dined here many times over many years and the food is always delicious. However, tonight it was not. The flavor was bland, at best. Disappointing all around.

We used to come here for every special occasion like birthdays, but the service just isn’t where it needs to be anymore. We went there Friday night, was told there would be a 25 minute wait for our party. Ending up waiting an hour and a half before being seated, and then at least another 30 minutes before our chef was there. It’s normal to be seated and to wait on the chef, but they usually give you your soup/salad during that time frame. Didn’t happen for us. Waitress forgot our soup/salad, and we didn’t get it until the chef was about finished cooking. Food tasted great like always, and the chef was funny. Everything else regarding the service was inadequate though. Didn’t receive a beverage refill the entire night. Then we got the bills and they charged us an 18% gratuity because our party was larger than six. I saw the sign about that while we were waiting, but I was shocked that they charged that gratuity after going through all the issues we had. On a side note, prices have increased significantly, but that’s inflation, so you really can’t fault them for that.

While the food was very good & the preparation was entertaining, the wait time was ridiculous. We were told it would be 30 minute wait. That turned into over an hour & then it was a 45 minute wait, at the table, to get the soup & salad. Also it took 20 minutes to get our drink orders. We arrived at 6pm & left at around 9:30 pm.

This place is just plain awful! From service to food... Just don't waste your money. Three of us in our party and I ordered hot green tea. It came out in a lovely tea pot that was ice cold and disgusting. My daughter ordered teriyaki chicken.... We had our food 25 minutes before she got hers... We stopped the waitress twice too ask for it... Finally it came, no apologies for it being so long..... Nothing... This was just wasted money all around!!! And I will never do it again,!!! Honestly it doesn't even deserve the one star!!

Placed a reservation over a month ago for my little brother’s birthday. Came in today and they had me wait over an hour over my reservation time. The whole time telling my group, and another, 10 more minutes, and “there is one more reservation in front” of us. Then when we came up to cancel our reservation and said we were leaving, they magically found a table for us? The management is awful, place was absolutely over booked. Barely any place to stand, now where to sit. Servers were coming up to the host stand cursing at one another. While the hosts were noticeably upset. I would not recommend this location to anyone in this city or any other. Multiple groups were complaining, with one saying that this has happened to them multiple times and they will not return. I feel bad for anyone who works under this awful management.
