Los Marqez

Really enjoyed this Mexican Restaurant. The food was delicious. The staff was wonderful. Prices are very good. If you take into account how great the food is then the cost for a meal starts looking very cheap. I have no problem recommending that anyone looking for a Mexican Restaurant to eat at in Clarksville, needs to check out Los Marquez.

Chips and salsa are good. The beans were overly processed, thin and a dark brown as if they were from a can, same for gaucamole was thin, tasted horrible, also like it was overly processed, canned and sour cream was expired and was gritty. Nice atmosphere and great service though. No one wants to pay $9-10 for subpar Mexican food. :(

It is okay. There are better Mexican Restaurants. The chips are not very good nor is the salsa. The taco shells are terrible. There are many other disappointing things. There are good things also. The place is clean. The staff is very friendly. You may find a menu item you thoroughly enjoy. I did not.

Good food as always but the server dropped off food and never came back. We were without drink most of the meal. My daughter was choking and there was no one around. We were the only ones in the restaurant at 8pm and waitress was sitting at a table with a coworker. I asked for drinks at the counter and 10 minutes later the server finally came to our table. The manager came after being requested and offered to pay the bill. I had already paid it and for the first time in my life left zero tip. I like this restaurant but with so many Mexican restaurants in the area, can’t say we will go back.

Had lunch there today. Was terribly disappointed. The salsa tasted like tomato puree from a can. The guacamole was the consistency of mayonnaise. The chips were very hard. The refried beans were runny with little flavor and the service was non-existent. I waited 10 minutes and had to flag down a server to get a refill on my diet coke, which was what I drank because when I asked for club soda (which they told me they had) I received tap water. On a positive note, the chicken fajitas did taste good and the food was hot, but in my opinion, I'll drive a little further to get a better meal next time.

This is the second time I've eaten here. Atmosphere and inside is nice and clean. The food is delicious, from the chips and dip to the meal. This time we had a dish called molcajete which they use use stone bowl and it stays for hot for the entire meal. Will definitely eat here again. Oh and don't forget to ask for the special spicy sauce that the cook makes its hot but very tasty.
