Orange Leaf Clarksville

My partner and I were staying in the hotel beside of this restaurant and we really didn't want to have to drive anywhere, so we decided to give it a try. Google showed that the restaurant was open until 11 p.m., and since it was 9:30, we thought it wouldn't be an issue. However, once we walked over, we saw a sign stating that they would be closing at 10 p.m. instead. We didn't want to inconvenience them, so we walked out. As we were trying to find another place to go, a worker came out and told us to come back in! We expressed our concern but he reassured us that it would be fine. I ordered the Chile Verde Burrito and MAN was it delicious! The pork had a wonderful char and the flavors were absolutely amazing. My partner ordered the Quesabirria, which is listed under the Birria menu. Honestly, I was blown away when I tried a bite of his. It was almost better than my own entrée... so I was a little jealous! This place really blew me away. Everything had so much flavor and it really felt unique compared to other Mexican Restaurants I have been to. I'm so grateful we were able to give this place a try! P.S. The cinnamon churros were to die for! Anytime I visit a Mexican Restaurant, I can't help but order these for dessert :)

We eat here more often as the go to Restaurant. However, the last 2 times has been Extremely disappointing. Here is why, The jalapeño margarita actually had rotten peppers in it. The food that was ordered was closer to cold than fresh and hot. The second visit was even more depressing, here is why. The 2 margaritas that where orders truly tasted like sugar water( no, I’m not an alcoholic). I like a good margarita, we actually had to add a shot of tequila just for taste and they use to serve good drinks here. Let’s talk about food. I ordered a naked steak bowl, I promise they actually forgot to put the protein in the bowl. I asked to speak to the manager. 5 minutes later, I had to ask to speak to the manager again. He shows up, I explain the bowl situation, his response, “ I think they put the wrong meat in the bowl”. After clearing up the broken English, they used the wrong steak. Which by the way was ONLY one very small pice of meat. Wait, there is more. I asked about my daughters dinner, as the chicken should’ve been served as dehydrated chicken with burnt grill marks. the manager said “ I think that’s how the chicken is supposed to be. Come to find out, HE IS THE OWNER OF THIS LOCATION!! The serve team needs to be taught how to serve. I seriously believe they are under new ownership. I would not be writing this review, but I’m extremely disappointed with the food, the service, and the lack of attention one has come to expect from here.

The food was DELICIOUS 😋 I had the chicken fajita nachos and my husband the Monterey chicken. The flavor was amazing. The portion size was good compared to price. The service was great. Our server was friendly, our drinks didn't go empty, and we were greeted with a smile each time he came to the table. We will be going back soon.

Would you like it wet 3 days old and greasy. Come here. Chips deep fried in month old grease. Absolutely overpriced for the quality. All the food looked and tasted like it was prepped 3 days early. The rice was disgusting. The only thing worth eating was the salsa. Bring your own Chips. Or better yet if your local and know these people help them to get on track to have fresh food !

Gave a 1 star for a reason. 1. The service was not even rate able. 2. the prices are ridiculous. 3. No one was a nice face (ex; 'Hi! How are you, I'll be your server today!") Plus my plate (the El rey burger) tasted kind of weird like it was made a few days earlier. Do not recommend eating at if you want a nice experience at a new restaurant. 😒
