Winking Lizard Tavern

Everything was “fine”. The food was good. The bar was very clean. I went in for lunch today and despite being very few people at the bar the bartender seemed more interested in talking real estate and refilling half empty beers for some people he knew at the end of the bar. I didn’t get condiments when my food came out and he never came back to ask if I needed anything so I just went without. Maybe don’t sit at the bar and you won’t have this problem. Also this location has no boman’s burgers or sandwiches.. this was the main reason I went and super disappointing.

Cheap!! Great nachos and beer selection! Rum and coke was scrumptious and the long island iced tea was delicious! Bartender was just perfect we had such a good time! We got 2 beers, 2 cocktails and nachos and it was less than 35 bucks. Got a 1 LIT from Harvey's at our hotel 1 block away and it was 20 bucks

Overall a good bar, just a stroll from Progressive Field there was a wait after the baseball game, but the food made it worth it! The staff were friendly and vibing to the music, good choices by the way. We ordered some fried cheese wedges for an appetizer that was top tier bar food. Then came the honey garlic wings. Very fitting name as they tasted like a mix between garlic parm and honey BBQ. Although they did go a little light on the sauce and did not check if we needed a refill they were busy so I'll give them a pass. Affordable, delicious barfood, with sports near by what more can you ask for?

Really friendly place. Good menu items and as good or better wings then BW3. I had the skinny wings so I could taste a few sauces without too many calories. Their hottest sauce definitely did the job. Wow. Our server Andrew was really good. He was friendly and super attentive. They had quite a few tap choices and specials, even late at night and overall their prices are really reasonable. Nice place and a good location near other popular places. They also feature the new Awesome veggie burger from Nestlé. It was very good.

I love a good sports bar. Cleveland, Ohio is a strong sports city so you just know there are bound to be great places that combine food, drinks, and sports viewing. I found such a place late one evening, following my attendance at a Cavs game. That place is Winking Lizard Tavern. The inside of Winking Lizard looks much like other taverns, complete with high top tables, a long bar with stools, and lots of televisions for sports viewing. Unlike the typical tavern, the menu options here are quite extensive. I can see why this establishment is just as popular with the foodie crowd as it is with the beer and booze crowd. The foods include a large selection of wings, burgers, ribs, wraps, salads, and more. The wings are a popular choice among guests because they are reasonably priced and there are about 20 or so different sauces, perfect for getting exactly the flavor you desire. The beer selection at Winking Lizard is vast and this is reason enough to pay a visit. There are about 20 or so beers on draft, but about 200 or so additional options in bottled and canned form. I decided that, since I was here on a beer tour, I would try to stick with local beer and I did exactly that. It was still tough to narrow down the selections, but I was able to find several good beers brewed in the greater Cleveland area. I visited Winking Lizard later in the day when it was less active. I can easily see how this could be a rockin’ place during a sporting event. With the huge selection of beer, good food, large amount of seating, and numerous televisions, Winking Lizard has all of the ingredients I expect in a sports bar and it easily earns my recommendation.

Found this place via a recommendation from a cleveland dude and he wasn't wrong. The food was very good and the price very reasonable. The burger was perfectly cooked as requested and the steak chips were delicious. The setting was great with plenty of TV's for all possible sporting events and the waitress was very helpful and polite. Highly recommended.
