I got the steak with onions and gravy, potatoes and greens. It was delicious. I also had the Woo Woo drink. It had just enough alcohol. My friends had the pasta and Catfish. There weren't any complaints from them. I will be back.

Saved the best for last! In town for a week and discovered this restaurant on the last day. Harold was amazing; great personality. The decor is awesome. I had the salmon croquettes that were delicious. I wish we had this restaurant in Atlanta. You must eat here and ask for Harold!!!

We came from Pittsburgh PA to eat here. 10 out of 10 fire…. Food and Service was awesome. Harold is the man, very knowledgeable about the menu. He gave us food and drink suggestions. When we mentioned we were from Pittsburgh, he left and came back with his Browns gear on. lol You just don’t get this kind of customer service now days, he is the best waiter I’ve had in a very long time. Ray was a very nice guy too very helpful made sure we were good the whole time. Highly recommended!

Upon the recommendation of a total stranger that my wife and I met during our layover in Chicago, I would HIGHLY suggest that you add Zanzibar Soul Fusion to your itinerary while in Cleveland. And make double sure you try the "Purple Rain" signature non-alcoholic drink that is served in a Mason jar. In a word: Heavenly.

Stumbled into Zanzibar before a concert downtown. The food was delicious, we ordered appetizers - soul rolls and the Mac and cheese. The staff was was very friendly and attentive. Manager was coming to all the tables to check how everything was and the bartender had great recommendations and kept our drinks coming! We will definitely be back!

My mother and I enjoyed a lovely dinner at Zanzibar! The food was fresh, hot and delicious! Our server, Amir, was friendly, attentive and offered great suggestions off the menu. We enjoyed a margarita, lemon drop martini & we both had the Honey Fried Chicken with Mac& cheese, candied yams, greens, house potatoes and a salad. We can’t wait to return and try more options off the menu.

We were in town for the weekend and looked up Black owned restaurants to try one on our way back home. This was a great choice. The service and food were excellent. We tried the salmon bites, fried porkchops, salmon croquettes, Mac and cheese, fried cabbage, candied yams and house potatoes. Everything was delicious.

We enjoyed a meal at the Shaker Zanzibar location. Sandra was our waitress; she was phenomenal and attentive. She made sure our order was correct and we had what we needed. When our food arrived, it was all that we hoped for and more. This was not our first time at Zanzibar; because of the service we receive and the quality of food we’ll definitely return.

The food was on point. I had the half chicken with yams and Mac and cheese, perfect combo. But the service was excellent and our server Suezette was amazing the entire service. She made sure we were comfortable and pleased , she checked back over and over. She is an amazing server. I will come back and she will be my request when I come back.

This place is phenomenal!!! Definitely a must eat at place in Cleveland.
My family of 5 dined here and everyone of us, kids included were satisfied! The staff was friendly and we had a few different people greet us at the door. Everyone was on their game. We had the fried chicken, catfish, shrimp and grits, & fried green tomatoes. The collard greens are OUT of this world!!!
Do yourselves a favor and swing by this place if you like GOOD not basic foods.
