Sabor Miami Cafe And Gallery

I've had cubanos in Miami and many other places and Sabor does an amazing job. This is a family run restaurant so the Starbucks and Applebee's crowd needs to be a little flexible if they're coming here. Sometimes they are cash only (this means bring fives and ones not twenties), sometimes the hours are a little flexible (call ahead). They are actually making the food in the back so it can take, gasp, a few minutes. Just calm down it's worth the wait. The cafe is small be prepared to eat in your car. Relax and enjoy the delicious, expertly made, food. If I hear you're giving these nice people a hard time we're gonna fight.

We truly did not want to leave this place. We were greeted by the owners sweet mother who walked us through the menu and was absolute joy to talk to. The food was fantastic and fresh. We started with ham and cheese and potato and cheese empanadas. They were terrific but the sauce they came with was to die for. For mains I got the chicken tropchop which was super yummy and healthy and my girlfriend got the Cuban sandwich. The bread of the Cuban was out of this world. I could have eaten a whole loaf. For dessert we split the homemade bread pudding. It was, as you would expect, phenomenal. After we ate the owner came out and talked to us and even told us all the beautiful paintings in the restaurant were her own creations. Sabor had a family and community vibe that was welcoming and inviting. We will definitely be back.

We drove from Akron for this place and it did NOT disappoint. We are FL transplants and this was a little taste of home that we had been missing. HIGHLY recommend and we will absolutely be back as often as we can to support the owner and enjoy highly quality delicious food. (We have already told our other FL transplant friends so they can also enjoy!)

Must try for locals, the food is amazing and the owner is lovely! The tropichop is my favorite menu item. The Jamaica water is so refreshing and always an add on to my order in warmer months - truly feels like a straight dose of happiness! The interior is cozy and eclectic, think funky (in a good way) coffee shop type vibe.

I have heard quite a bit about Sabor Miami, and finally ordered Cubano's for lunch at work. Wow, they were fantastic! Just like many other reviewers, this is the best Cubano around! By the way, the Cuban coffee was also outstanding! Keep up the great work! There are also very many pieces of artwork for sale as well!! Can't wait to go back again!!
