I cannot express how happy I am when I visit Fear's Confections!!! Cassandra is very nice. I do particularly enjoy the hand made chocolate... particularly nerdy chocolate. I am a particularly a fan of the Harry Potter Chocolate Frogs, the Chocolate Millennium Falcon and the Chocolate Star Trek insignia. In addition the hand made brownies are amazing.

Amazingly great chocolate and even better people. This not so hidden long standing gem is a absolute must visit! My bag of geek swag was cool to look at and even better to eat! Looking forward to my next trip to Lakewood!

Great chocolate! While visiting Cleveland, I found this place online, and I was super happy I did. I bought a bunch of Star Wars themed chocolate, and they were all delicious. The white chocolate, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, and wafer chocolate were so good.

Lavender lemonade is a must have, and the banana icecream is so fresh. I would love some walnuts in it ! The “chocolate sponge” was crunchy but melted in your mouth. Also bought some art from a local photographer they had featured at the shop.

Amazing Lakewood gem! I can’t believe I waited this long to go. Everything is amazing but I love the fun shaped chocolates (I got some Harry Potter and Star Wars ones), and their sponge candy is the best I’ve had! The owner is also very kind and welcoming. Definitely check this place out if you haven’t.

Just tried this amazing chocolate candy store out today! It didn't disappoint!! Fears is big on Star Wars, which is why I stopped. Had the cutest chocolates. Also amazing sponge candy! The girl I talked to was so nice!!Now I know it's there,I will definitely be back!

The owner of this business is so sweet. She was exceptionally helpful and you can tell she really cares about her business. This is nerd paradise if you are looking for a unique experience of Cleveland that is solely one of a kind. The chocolate is delicious and this is definitely a hidden gem that I will return to. Needs to be added to the list of geeky and nerdy things to do in Cleveland!

Wonderful choclatier, their turtles look like turtles, not just a hot mess. I bought the Dr. Who collection, they look brilliant.

This place is amazing. The fruit tarts and lemony snicket (lemon lavender meringue tart) are some of my favorite desserts of all time.

We went in for a quick visit and ended up chatting with the very friendly owner for quite some time. We took several pieces home as we couldn't choose between the very detailed designs.... Actually who am I kidding, most of the chocolates didn't make it home!
Well worth a visit when in the area.
