We didn't hit here but still a nice casino. I prefer MGM because there are only 2 Jacks and we don't make it here often. There's a good mixture of games. No table games. You'd have to go to the Jack downtown for those. I love that they have giants gold, one of the first games we ever played. They have plenty of parking. Beers were a bit pricey at $8 for a plastic cup of beer. We didnt try there grill this time but it is pretty good. They had a sit down breakfast restaurant a while back that was way better than the current breakfast ciunter.

Spent two nights in the parking lot in my camper doing some refrigerator repair work. Had dinner in the casino the first night, shrimp tacos were fabulous! I was planning on having dinner there again the second night, and my wife would’ve joined me, but the casino came out to the camper and said they don’t allow camping in their parking lot. So we left. I’m not a casino person, but it was gorgeous inside. I do love the horse races and would’ve enjoyed attending the races next week now that my fridge is fixed. But if I can’t camp there, I won’t be able to as I am a full-time RVer.

Really enjoyed experiencing a new casino, as well as seeing some newer slots that we had only seen on YT videos. The layout is nice, and though we didn't take advantage of the open eateries (3 choices, 2 price points $$, $$$) at least they remain open until 10 pm. Great for our date night which doesn't start until the babysitter arrives! This JACK offers free covered parking, which is better than the downtown casino ($60 or play til you earn enough points to earn validation). My adult beverage was fine, but my hubby prefers them stronger after being spoiled by another bartender at another casino lol. We will definitely head back and explore the other level(s)! Update: we keep going back because it's still the best of the three casinos! It's as fun as ever, the people are nice, and the chance to win is real!

I started going to Thistledown in the 1960's and its still a great horse race track. All the workers are helpful and friendly so if you don't know how to bet on horses just ask and they will be happy to help. I don't really do the slots but the slots floor is very big and has a lot of games. Very clean and well organized. I highly recommend this track / casino.

Went to the Ohio Derby at thisledowns.i love when you can sit inside or walk and be outside right by the jockeys trainers and owners. You can get autographs goggles from jockeys talk to them be up close take pictures with them...that makes a great day whether you win or loose it's enjoyable. Nice bathrooms and eating places and nice service. You can play the slots as well in the casino. No table games though.
