I got the veggie plate with dressing and Mac and cheese. Everything was awesome. I did get charged extra for getting beef gravy on my dressing which was unexpected but overall I would return. I suggest you call your order ahead because it can get very bust in there!! But that just a consequence of great food!

I got an order from them through Doordash. Y'all ever listen to Phil Collins on the Tarzan sound track and think "He didn't have to go hard like that for us but he did." Lol I'm not kidding you when I say thats how I feel about their food. Lord it was good! I messed up my own order and got string beans instead of collard greens. Im not even normally a fan of green beans all like that but they laid them things out! For my main meal I got the beef tips over rice and for a 2nd side I got mac and cheese. Man..it was all just so good! Lol I got the food like 2 days ago and kept trying to remind myself to drop them a solid review cause once again, they didn't have to go that hard on the food but they did!

When I came in, I was in line behind someone who seemed to know the cashier. They were laughing and enjoying each other's company. When it came time for me to place my order, I was treated just the same! I think I just met the most charming and friendly person I've ever met in my whole life! The customers who came after me were also welcomed just as well. The food was excellent, the decor is dressed down, but the woman behind the counter could make any business work.

Oh my God, we set out to go to what we thought was another soul food restaurant and happened to wrong across Angie's on Google. It's a small mom and pop restaurant, but the food is absolutely delicious. So much so that we ordered food for the next day to eat as well. They had a lot of specials, but I went with the fried pork chops. They were nice and thick and fried to perfection. The mac&cheese was definitely worth getting seconds of. My only disappointment was they were out of potatoe salad and lemonade.
