Golden Bee

This was our first time at the Golden Bee and it did not disappoint! Lenworth was our outstanding server who was knowledgeable about the menu, made great recommendations, and delivered top notch service. The food and drinks were excellent, we shared the giant pretzel with cheese, the fish and chips, and the crusted salmon which was cooked to perfection. We will definitely be coming back.

This place is off the charts! We just moved to the area and were so glad we found the Golden Bee. Our waiter Kenneth was amazing, He was super helpful and had wonderful suggestions. The house made pastrami sandwich will not be forgotten. We can not wait to come back. The atmosphere, service, unique tastes and the piano player were perfect. How can I forget the bees that they throw at you.

The Golden Bee is a first class comfortable, semi-casual pub that has 5 star service, food, and drinks. Coming from a mixologist, I was thoroughly impressed with their craft cocktails which are innovative, unique, delicious, and refreshing. Notable cocktail is the Flight of the Bumblebee which contains Lee’s Lavender Gin, Crème de Violet, St. Germain, and Lemon. The Herb Roasted Chicken Sandwich was tender, juicy, and innovative, and absolutely delicious. You also must try the Golden Bee’s sandwich with house made Pastrami, namely, The Colorado Hot Pastrami Sandwich. This Pastrami is not like some store bought, but more like thicker-sliced craft bacon in its butcher like slicing and texture.

So I’m going to preface with this saying the price tag is massive. The price definitely doesn’t match the food. The food was excellent. The service was superb. The atmosphere was absolutely stunning. But paying the price for this food doesn’t give it five stars. If the price were more reasonable it would be an instant five stars.

One of my favorite spots to eat in Colorado Springs! The staff takes such great care of you (true Broadmoor standards) while still maintaining a casual piano bar energy. Servings are large, but make sure to save room for dessert! I would give my first born child for that sticky toffee pudding. I thought the lemon custard was also good, but nothing near the other! Definitely a great place to stop and eat, or bring guests to when in the area.
