Bristol Brewing Compamy

The brewery is in an old school, which is really charming. I wish I could say the same about the beer. The initial taste has the flavor profile that you would expect (most of the time), then it fades into a dish soap flavor. So disappointed! I really wanted to like any of it but didn't. I have a well rounded palate and know what each style should taste like. Unfortunately, I'd rather have a macro beer and that breaks my heart!

Loved the location! Aspects of the school that Bristol converted are still visible. Visited during Covid so normal restrictions were in place, so atmosphere was likely a little muted. Beer was good. Bartender offered a taste of a nitro and CO2 carbonated version of their Compass IPA - a first for me. I preferred the CO2 variant, but a nice touch to taste the difference. Also loved their Imperial IPA!

Love this place. Have fun every time I go. Has a childish feel to the bathrooms since it’s still painted as it would be as it would be in elementary school. It was actually an elementary school I’m sure this is already in the reviews. But yeah, gooooood food and even better drinks. You can find the liquor in the principals office. There is also a bakery. The outside patio is awesome in the summertime.
