Salsa On The Rock Fresh Mexican Grill

I recently had lunch here with my mom. It was warm & cozy inside, we even got a nice booth. The server was attentive & really nice. I asked for enchiladas that weren't on the menu & it wasn't a problem. The beans were amazing! And that tomatillo sauce was delicious & kinda spicy. Perfect for lunch during the week.

Our favorite locally owned “go to” Mexican restaurant. My son in law and daughter like the food so much they had Salsa on the Rocks cater their rehearsal dinner. All 35 guests gave the guacamole, habanero/ pineapple salsa, fajitas, etc. rave reviews. We will use them for all future events. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Wonderful place in my new neighborhood. The atmosphere reminded me of a few places in Mexico, and food has that wonderful Colorado quality of taking good things and adding to them. We started with chips salsa and house margaritas. All were excellent. The 'ritas had a perfect blend of sweet and sour with enough tequila to add to the flavor but not knock you down. The chips came with fresh Pico, a mild roasted bean salsa, and unique and excellent pineapple spicy salsa. For entrees, we had a fajita steak burrito and chili relleno. Both were wonderful. The Relleno was the more unique of the two, being deep fried to make them crunchy and melting the cheese that flowed effortlessly when I cut off my bites. You can get it with red or green chili sauce. I had the green that was the hotter of the two. It was warm enough to take notice, but it won't make a seasoned spicy food lover sweat. To finish, we had the flan that was drenched in a light carmel glaze drizzled with raspberry syrup. It had a pudding like texture vs. the usual more gelatinous. It was very good. Sweet but not over the top. So we really enjoyed our first visit, and we're looking forward to working our way through the menu.

Came in and was greeted with smiles, I'm pretty ugly so that's nice. Went to the bar got some chips and salsa. Not a fan of the sweet of pineapple and the mild spice of that habanero but if you are, try it. The salsa was mild but pretty good, Pico with it. Had the Birria tacos, a decent taco good amount of shredded beef. A side from the mild flavor, definitely a place to try out. Worth it... And thanks to Olivia my bar keep/ server took really good care of me. Check out the merch too.

The combination plate (steak burrito, cheese enchilada, small side of green chili) I had ordered was very petite considering the price (19$) but this is a perfect place to celebrate a birthday party and was worth every second. Small portions but everything I tried was packed with flavor. Salsa's & pico de gallo is to die for!
