The British Pantry And Tea Room

We didn't eat anything while we were there but we loved the assortment of British goodies from all over Britain. Came in with my English boyfriend and his mom, they were skeptical when I suggested we stopped there but they ended up spending over half an hour reminiscing on the various candies and specialty foods sold there. The owner was there and she was very kind.

Always come here to pick up English chocolate! It is a bit pricey but it’s well worth that amazing chocolate. The ladies who work there are helpful and love to chit chat about England. I love to bring in my English grandmother and remind her of her roots. She has dementia and this place is like home for her. It is honestly bittersweet. I truly appreciate this business being open!

I’ve shopped many tines at the British Pantry whenever I visit Old Colorado City. I often noticed the tea area in the store but only recently did I decide to experience a traditional British High Tea! The experience was awesome! Rick, who served me was well versed in both the properties of the tea as well as explaining the tasty goodies to be enjoyed with that special tea! The food was fresh and well made! I truly enjoyed the experience! If you ever find yourself visiting Old Colorado City don’t miss out on this amazing experience! Highly recommend!!!

We absolutely love this store and have been coming for the last 3 years. The owner is from the same the same town as my husband. He loves to chat her up about "home." Sad to hear a very historic hotel, over 100 years old, caught fire and was destroyed. Broke our hearts. Charming place with a great selection of foods. We always take a huge haul home! Prices are very good! One of these days we'll do the tea!

Hands down the best British selection in the Springs. Would give 6 stars if I could. I've been looking for my favorite British goods for some time now, Wheetabix, Cherry Bakewells, Skips, pot noodles, etc. I found them all at The British Pantry. If you're looking for a high noon tea experience with scrumptious pastries they have thar here with authentic English tea. Sausage rolls are worth the wait! They have a person playing the harp in the tea room, overall a lovely experience. Marie is a lovely woman and I will definitely be shopping at her pantry again.
