La Carreta

The food here is excellent. Very tasty and authentic. The wait time was very short. The waitress was polite and lovely. Great kids menu. The atmosphere is so beautiful. They have the carved tables, carved chairs and the carved booths. It is a gorgeous in there. You can tell they put a lot of work in this restaurant. I look forward to going in again with friends and family. 🥰🤤

I understand a few of the negative reviews, however it seemed like a laid back place. The food wasn't terrible, but it's nothing to write home about. Nothing seemed too dirty. I won't come back, but I certainly don't regret giving them a try. (Although I will say the peas and carrots in the rice confused me)

When I first walked in I didn't see any staff, but someone soon came out to seat me. Felt like a classic Mexican cantina, which are among my favorite spots. I was served chips and salsa, the salsa was very good. I ordered the pork tamale with a cheese enchilada, and it was delicious as well! The coffee was surprisingly fantastic, and it was served in a cool mug! I should have taken a picture! Overall a great place, right next to work, so I will be coming more often!

We have been doing a yearly family dinner here for years. They have a table that can accommodate a family of 20+ the food is so good and rounding out dinner with Sopapillas makes for a perfect family dinner. The margarita pitchers are large and strong. If your looking for a place to go for drinks and dinner with family this place isn't fancy but it sure is nice.
