Sheldon's Luncheonette

Oh what a lovely lovely lunch we had yesterday! It was our first time and definitely not our last. The Reuben was the best we’ve had in maybe forever. The meat was tender, fresh, and had such flavor. They bring the 1000 island dressing for you to control how much to add which we liked. I had a sample of both the “mild” and the hot green chile sauce and loved the heat and flavor so much. The atmosphere was so old school and friendly and the experience was simply perfect. Lastly, their homemade veggie beef soup was a warm treat that filled me up and I swear I could taste the love.

This cafe has the best green chili sauce and sausage gravy! Food is always good. Service was great. Our waitress was Kourtney. She can answer any question you have about the food and is very cheery and understands how to be a great waitress. We loved her service and chatting with her. She works very hard. This is an old style cafe.

Had a large breakfast here with my Daughter. We wanted everything on the menu. Staff made us feel just as welcome as the obvious regulars station at their usual spot around the diner. All the food was absolutely fabulous. We had two slices of pie SB Rhubarb and Coconut cream, which were fantastic! Will definitely return anytime we are over this way.
