While I thought the carne asada was cut way too thick, the taste was there. Beans were great. Their lime cilantro rice was on the "limey" side and wasn't enjoyable to eat on its own.
The atmosphere is great, I wouldn't hesitate to go back, but I wouldn't get the carne asada plate again.

Our party of 2 came in when there were many people waiting- we were seated in 10 minutes in a nice sized room with 6 tables for 4 each and there but there were mostly couples seated (sweet, uncrowded!) and the fire was roaring in the fireplace!

I've been coming here for years. Very good Mexican restaurant centrally located downtown. Good food, good drinks, and a great atmosphere.

The food was good, it's not super flavorful or seasoned as much as it should be, but if your in a pinch and looking for some "Okay" Mexican food than this is definitely your place. Restaurant was slow when we went, so it was really nice to allow my wife and I to take in the attractive atmosphere. The slower time at the restaurant also made the service with our waitress a 10/10.

Went there October 18, 2023 the food came out hot, as well as delicious. The service was outstanding as well, prices were very reasonable. I love this restaurant.

Went here for lunch, had the chili rellenos, with mean green chili. Unexpectedly the kitchen sent out a complimentary third rellenos!!!! Said the other Two were too small. The portions here are out standing. The mean green chili was tasty and slightly too spicy so our waitress offered to bring some mild chili to cut it. Prompt service everything was delicious. every time I am in town and looking for tasty food I will come and check it out.

We ordered the queso, a fajita platter for one and a single tamale. The fajitas came with a side of white lime rice and charro beans, and the tamale came with a spicy salsa on top.
The fajita plate was a large portion and everything tasted great. The service was prompt, and everyone we interacted with was kind and friendly!

Absolutely the most delightful restaurant. The service is fantastic. The atmosphere is superb, and the food is second to none. Highly recommend for every reason there is to go out to eat. I am a weekly regular now and very proud to be one. See you there, possibly!

Walking downtown Colorado Springs looking for restaurant for dinner on a Sunday evening. Jose's had best appearance from street, menu looked good, was very pleasantly surprised to find outdoor courtyard dining with great atmosphere. Food was excellent, service was equal. Hope to get to try it again in future.
