Sushi O Sushi

A very decent sushi restaurant in South Colorado Springs. The food was very good quality, though a bit on the pricier side. That’s okay though, as just having an option for good sushi in this area is a huge plus. The atmosphere is great as well. The one thing they can improve is the quality of the menus. The print job was competitive faded, and ordering was more difficult than it should be. Overall, a great experience.

This was a surprising find at a strip plaza. We decided to wing it and go for sushi so here we are. We went with their omakase, which starts at $55. This is true to omakase where the chef chooses for you. We requested to cap it at $70 per person and to include uni (sea urchin). We definitely had higher quality fish back in CA, but this isn’t a knock against Sushi O Sushi. We enjoyed our time and left full. Overall quality was good and the freshly grated wasabi was a huge plus. Anyway, I recommend their kurodai, king salmon, seared salmon belly and seared toro! Side note: the seared scallop had too much going on for us. Safe to skip unless you really really enjoy them.

The food and service here is exceptional! Our server, Jordan was so attentive and beyond exceptional! His customer service skills went above and beyond. He told us he just started and you would've thought he'd had years of experience under his belt. We would go back just for his service! Thank you so much Jordan! For being in a strip mall, this was one of the more high end sushi joints in town and I was blown away by the craft that went into each roll. Obviously a little bit pricy, but that's also what you expect at a place like this. Even though some of the decorations were pretty cheap, the feel inside was more authentic and upscale, and the staff was incredibly polite and professional, despite their age and apparent lack of experience. Will DEFINITELY be back!
