Old Chicago

Gabriel was an absolutely amazing server. Went in on a weekday for lunch with a BIG group, for a celebration. He was quick, friendly, attentive, and overall awesome. Food took a bit to get out to us, but considering how big of a group and how many different items we had, it all came out at the same time. He went above and beyond to make our experience great, and absolutely crushed my expectations. That dude deserves a freaking raise.

We went to OC today & asked about one of our favorite bar tenders named Carter but were told he is not working the bar for the time being. My husband and I love Carter! He's always got a funny dad joke to lift the mood and he's very knowledgeable on the drafts that are available as well as with the whole menu! Please bring Carter back, thank you!

Food was good but the service was not amazing. The waitress was very nice but she took a long time to get our orders but to be fair I could have just been impatient since I was hungry. Once we got our food it was tasty. The young gentleman that was running the hostess stand needs to realize there are people around that can hear him as he was cussing to a coworker saying he needed a f-ing break. I don’t know if he was referring to work or something else but it was not very polite to hear.

Ok, so I’m from a small town in Kentucky and absolutely love pizza. I came here for two weeks for work on Fort. Carson. Yes I’m in the military but work had nothing to do with the military. I would have to say this is probably one of, if not, the best pizza I have had. I only wish that my town in Kentucky had an Old Chicago’s. The perfect blend of flavors and an extra surprise on the crust I would have never thought of to put on a crust. If you’re ever in Colorado Springs, I would definitely recommend this place for pizza.

I come to Old Chicago for social reasons. I meet my friends and we hang out and sit at the bar drinking beer and telling stories. This is a perfect bar for that. While seeing friends is always good, it is also great to see the employees. I have gotten to know the regular bartenders and can say only good things about them. Hillary, Megan, Carter, Brandy, & Sid always are good with a hello and a quick pour of a pint. The bartenders work hard as they have to bear the brunt of the constantly changing beer mini-tours and the changing numbers assigned. I really like the bar tenders and they make Old Chicago a place where a regular can be comfortable. And even someone just popping in for the night will find this place inviting.

The food was great... our server, who looked like Jesus from The Walking Dead, was phenomenal in recommending drinks and food. Food was better than many of the Old Chicago's I've been to. I would recommend this location for the beer selections and ease of access. The Buffalo Chicken rolls are awesome! The calzone I had was spectacular. The dark chocolate cake was just too much for me to finish.
