Black Forest Pies & Grinders

My family and I were staying in the area and ordered a few subs, salads, and their garlic bread. We all couldn't get over what a quality spread they made us! Everything was delicious. Especially the salad, I was trying to watch my waistline before a wedding, and they made me a very generous salad. Couldn't tell you the last time I went to a pizza shop and was so pleased as this. Couldn't recommend more all around. The staff as well were very sweet. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was their New York Jets decor because I'm a New Englander (wink wink).

We've been looking for an off the path pizza joint since moving to CO. Decided to try this place last night with a bunch of family over; it was a hit. Huge pizza, delicious flavors, overall amazing pizza. We will for sure do this place again. Plus I do vegan options sometimes and this place has veg cheese options.

Pies and Grinders is our “go to” place in Black Forest! They do dinner for my family at least once a week! It’s a toss up for our FAVE grinders with the Cheesesteak (w/provolone, onions peppers & mushrooms!) and the Hot Italian fighting for our first place spot! We love their pies (they do just abt anything you’d like even if it’s not on the menu)! I’ve even seen a sign abt CbD infused pizza which I can see the benefit of but I’ve never tried it! It’s just another way that they’ll make just abt anything you’d like! Great crust…my family loves both the thin crust meat and veggie lovers & their Supreme is MY personal fave right now!! We have been eating here for years (at least 23 so far)!! and really appreciate this family owned, local business that has “grown” into now having multiple locations!! We are proud of their hard earned success that HAS stemmed from consistently giving us a great meal and doing so with competence and great customer service!! 👏 I say competence cuz when we go elsewhere, we NEVER seem to get home with our entire order done correctly! Let’s just say They seldom just “nail it”!!) So thank you Pies & Grinders for feeding my family and always NAILING IT! We always know we can count on loving it, every time!! Time after time!!
