Firehouse Subs

Went into Firehouse Subs on Austin Bluffs by North Academy today. They had a $6 offer on the app for a meatball sub. It was a medium Sub, it was awesome great flavor, bread was soft yet it had a nice Crestwood, nice garlic flavor on the bread. And the lady there was awesome she was the only one there at the time. Friendly, upbeat smiling, there was a couple in there when I came in and there was a two other people came in after me. Place was clean, spacious. I recommend this Firehouse Sub. They had a sign on the front counter there stating as of January they gave just a little bit under $1 million dollars or at least that's what it looked like to me, LOL to the yearly charity they give to which is the fire department. This one went to the Colorado safety something another department, it's my idea that's what department goes to before it gets trickled down to the fire department and the men who truly need it.

I love this sub shop, they have good prices, the staff are very friendly and work at a quick pace to get your order to you. The different style of subs are good to, each one having it own particular bite. Toasted or not the subs come out great. And correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the some of the proceeds go to helping fire departments.

Quick first time visit, service was quick,staff friendly and sore was clean. As for the food, I only tried one sandwich, and the meat was good fresh veggies. My only complaint would be the white bread. It was a choice between wheat or white. I chose white, and the bread tasted sweet, like Hawaiian rolls I am not a fan of at all. Overall, it's a good spot. I will visit again, but ask for wheat next time.

The employees here make great recommendations and are super nice. Food was just as great too as those making our food. Haven't been here in a while since Jimmy John's is closer to us but the Jimmy John's around us are nothing compared to this places subs. Only bad thing I can say about this place is how far it is from me. Also their gluten free bread is actually surprisingly good.

I had a birthday sub sent to me in the Firehouse app. Yesterday I went into this store and was greeted by friendly, nice employees. I ordered the veggie sub on white... Sat in the lobby and enjoyed the best sub sandwich I have ever had. I will absolutely be returning to this location in the future and I'll bring some friends along with me. Thank you for making my day great.

Discovered this place does Schar Gluten Free Rolls ... while they cannot guarantee total non-contamination of gluten crumbs, they do use single use paper to toast the sub. We decided to try it out. I normally don't like Schar from the store, and expected a hard dry roll. Instead I was very pleasantly surprised at the softness, and nice 'given to the bite. The sauces help any dryness that may be present of the roll. I got the turkey pepper ranch as a medium on the gluten free roll. And it was more than satisfying! He got firehouse steak and cheese, medium sub (non-gluten free) and large drink. Again very satisfying!
