Horseshoe Donuts

Phenomenal donuts. The selection is much smaller than Amy's, but I think that's a good thing. Every donut I've had from Horseshoe has been consistently higher quality than anything else I can find in the Springs. Sure, they don't have a peanut butter-banana-bacon-oreo fudge cake donut with twizzlers on top, but they have the best quality donut I've had in a while. That's not to say that they only have glazed and chocolate, though. They've doing what donuts sell and what donuts don't, and they only make what sells. Bottom line, if you want quality over quantity, Horseshoe is the place to go.

This place is great! The staff is super friendly, and while the selection isn't massive, the 20 or so kinds of donuts they do have are absolutely amazing. I've never gone wrong with anything I've gotten from them. Their coffee is also good, though again, just a few choices. No frills! I do wish they carried cream rather than just powdered creamer. The one thing (which other reviewers have also mentioned) is that their minimum purchase to use a debit card is $10, which seems kind of high.

The doughnuts were really good and quite large. The store was really cute, they had saddles for chairs. Staff wasn't rude, but wasn't overly friendly either... I reserve 5 stars for good product AND good service. More smiles, engage, ask if there something else that can be done for customer. Thanks for the big, good doughnuts! I wish you lots of success with the new store.

I told my hubby about this place because the people are from Mass. He's an East coast guy himself. He says people from Mass are serious about there donuts. Location is great right off of Circle and Airport. The place is bright, unassuming. My husband was disappointed by the selection, although he only ever wants a creme filled donut. I was immediately drawn to the apple fritters, they were huge and delicious looking. We were not disappointed! Nice and crunchy on the outside with soft cinnamon throughout with little chucks of apple. In fact my hubby said they tasted just like the ones he used to get back in Connecticut. Only these had less apples, but we couldn't stop eating it. My daughter had a simple glaze with chocolate frosting which she quickly devoured. Go, early and support local delicious donuts!
