Starbucks

Edit 02.20: Came in today and the music was much lower, which is perfect for me. Staff was very considerate to the customers. Genuinely appearing to care about their satisfaction. Because of such a drastic change from my previous visits I am updating my review of it. I normally come here for the B&N but recently thought to bring a few clients here for meetings. Ordered a drink it was made Togo even though I was dining in which I assume meant no toppings, so I requested that they be added, which was done very timely. However, the barista placed my drink on the other side of the store, I looked at her strange as I was standing next to her, another barista noticed my expression and handed me my drink. First impression, very rude, unprofessional and sad. I had another meeting with a client there, thinking it would be suitable for conversation, but the music was very loud. I asked the barista if it were possible to lower the music, to which they responded positively, and assured they would do so. I don't know if they ever did lower the volume, and at a point it sounded as if the volume was increased even more. I do not mind the music not being able to be lowered just don't lie to me about it. Second impression, I won't be bringing clients here for business anymore, it appears I can only be embarrassed for bringing clients to an unsuitable location if I continue to bring them here. There is WiFi and they do sell the normal Starbucks menu items, so there is that. I have not used the restroom here so I don't know about it's quality of cleanliness but B&N has a restroom that is clean for sure. This location is near a mall and attached to a B&N. Overall I would not recommend this place unless you were in a rush. If you're in a rush it isn't likely to notice or even care about the problems I experienced.

I like this Starbucks! It's well situated on Centennial and Garden of the Gods. Safeway is right there, as is Ace Hardware. There are a ton of restaurants on this corner and close by. Some of the Baristas are pretty good too. There is one Barista who doesn't have a clue, so beware. :-) you'll figure out which one I'm talking about

I bought a hot chocolate, perfect for the winter season. It was affordable and delicious. The staff behind the counter were very friendly and had a smile. I'm not the biggest fan of coffee but they have a good selection of other drinks also. Compared to other Starbucks, this had a more personal and comfortable atmosphere. I will definitely be back next time I do my book shopping.
