Lizard's Thicket

Lizard Thicket catered for 60 for our private event. They put all off my worries at ease and showed up nearly thirty minutes early with the food kept in regulated containers to stay warm. They did not need to, but they helped me to set up all of my food and were so very accommodating. I would love to say thank you to our delivery crew. They delivered on 11/24/19 at 5:00! I am so so so thankful to have worked with this company and will do so again for future events. Our residents were blown away at the food and we are so satified! Thank you thank you thank you!

This is for the location in front of Target on Two Notch: For Thanksgiving, I ordered turkey, dressing with giblet gravy, and squash casserole. I was soooooo disappointed!!!! I knew the turkey would be a loaf (they told me that when I ordered via phone), but it certainly was tasteless. Now the dressing was perfectly AWFUL.....guess I was expecting cornbread dressing (which I thought they used to make), again, pretty tasteless. The squash casserole wasn't even done. And the giblet gravy?? It actually jelled and was difficult to warm up. If I could give zero stars, I would. I'm wondering if all Lizard's Thickets use the same recipes. If so, I'm done. Ruined my Thanksgiving, for sure.

General Manager, Todd at the Knox Abbot location refused to replace, refund the vegetable soup that I ordered and received. When I got home to serve to my Mom, Barbara Koosa, it had the packaged crackers and receipt inside of the soup. I called and spoke with James the Assistant Manager before I made the trip back which was about ten miles. James was friendly and helpful, although distraught that his "trusted" employees would do such a thing; which is understandable. Nonetheless, I had the impression that he would replace the soup without question. I worked in food and beverage for many years, as has my family and that is always the cardinal rule. The total price was just under ten dollars so the money was NOT the issue. Todd made it clear he did not believe me and when I got there he said this isn't Walmart and refused to replace the soup, called the police on me for raising my voice so I left with my broken and ruined food and they kept the money in spite of. Literally, the worst restraunt experience I've ever had in my 56 years.

This is for Sunset Blvd. Location in Lex. S.C. Take out must be checked, the older males in this place have ruined the business. Many different Complaints are ignored by management. Same old story, the cook is good(but an ignorant creep)and the underlings are brushed off when complaints are made. 3 trips in three years is too much. Every time a mix up. That lizard is really a snake.

I visited the Florence, South Carolina establishment on 12/30/17. The young lady that greeted me at the door was really pleasant. She greeted my friend and I and asked would it be dine in or carry out. I told her we would like to dine in. She agreed and told us we could sit wherever we would like. We sat down and looked over the menu. Everything looked magnificent! It was very hard for me to choose. After about five minutes I noticed no one had come to take our drink orders. I got up to go to the bathroom whilst my friend sat to wait for someone to come to the table. When I returned still, no one came. I sat and waited for approximately 15-20 more minutes. Nothing happened. I kindly gathered my belongings and proceeded to the door. The servers were very aware we were there. No one even came to see what we would have liked to order. Later on I called and spoke to the manager. All he would do was say "I'm so sorry this happened." At the time there was a grand total of seven people in this restaurant. We never got any service. I will NOT be returning to this establishment again. This totally ruined my whole day, especially since I traveled an hour to get here! I was very very unhappy with the outcome of this and will be contacting the corporate office in Columbia, South Carolina.

I ordered take out from the one on Two Notch road my food was cold the Mac and cheese was hard and the pork chop was salty..I don't normally have a problem with my food from there.But because I got stuck in traffic trying to get there it is my fault the food was cold.. They should have seen it been sitting for a while and replaced it with hot food..I will NEVER AGAIN EAT there.. And the manger said that it was my fault it got cold.. Very unprofessional and he didn't even offer to replace it..Very poor customer service..😔😔😔

My church family and I went to the hwy 1 location and had a problem with our food and the manager David came to our table to tell us that we were wrong that out mac and cheese was not scorch which you could visually see that it was and it definitely taste terrible our corn was hard it had been sitting out so long and the coleslaw smelled and tasted ranside David was very rude and instead of him replacing our food David told us that if we did not like the food we didn't need to come back and stated that there was not a f______ thing wrong with the food myself and my church family were shocked that a manager would talk to and treat us in such a manner we will never go into another Lizards Thicket and will advise eveyone we know not to either.
