Panera Bread

I always had a great experience there, but today I went for a couple of bagels before work and they made me wait a while even though bagels were ready and I didn't ask for anything extra. The person who took my order and staff in the back were not on the same page. Staff definitely need better training.

First they only had 2 soups and one of them wasn’t even on the menu. We ended up with onion soup which was good. The sandwich was on an ice cold roll but at least the chicken was warm. It only had a couple leaves of lettuce. They only had large cups for drinks so not that big of a deal but they hardly had any sodas as half of them were out. There was 2 drink machines and one of them was taken apart. All this for $43, 2 sandwiches and 2 cups of soup. Just horrible! Then we wanted butter for our bread, they didn’t have any?!?!?!

20$ for sandwich, a bowl of melted cheese they called soup, a drink and a .25 cent piece of French bread. The sandwhich conditioned of dry chicken, lettuce, croutons, it had no seasonings and hardly any sauce. This is a he first time I’ve eaten here in 8 years. It’s a place for vapid socialites and the business types with no friends.

The cashier forgot to add two brownies to my order, so they comped it which was great! I got to my hotel and discovered that they had only given me one small salad and one large salad. I paid for two large. Their portion servings are for a rabbit. Now I have to go grocery shopping in order to feed my clients properly.

We went here because he ice cream store was closed. We ordered three meals and waited, and waited and waited. We were given no instructions on anything and we waited. I even went over to the area to ask, "Is our food ready?" They said, "We'll call you." Well, they didn't. My daughter went over there to find out if the food was ready and she said, "We're not even on the list." I went over there and they said, "We called you." No, they didn't and if they did, it was so quiet, no one could hear. If I had known I had to wait at the pickup area, I would have but didn't know. The sandwich had nothing on it but meat but they do have condiments. I paid over $30.00 for a 3 sandwiches and a salad and they were all small. I do not intend to go back.

Panera Gervais St. Columbia, SC I was so appalled by the way 2 of the employees treated a elderly man at the store the other day at lunch. At the Gervais St. store in Columbia SC. The 2 were rude and disrespectful and it literally brings tears to my eyes when I think about how they treated him. The service was slow, the employees are slow and a bit arrogant, that I can deal with b/c I just won't ever go back. Panera Corporate values states they "believe in treating people with warmth, value and respect" and I witnessed none of that. I reached out to corporate about how rude these kids were to that elderly man but if course they didn't respond b/c I'm guessing they don't care. I've never been more bothered by poor behavior in a restaurant than I was on that Saturday. im angry at the employees and Panera for doing that and sad for that elderly man who was just trying to pick up some food and then left with out it. I wish I had chased him down and given him our food. I wasn't going to post here but since Panera didn't respond I want others to know that this is not a warm and friendly place and the ppl there are not very nice.
