Village Idiot Pizza

Love the new dairy-free, VEGAN cheese option & hope that it stays permanently! This is true NY style pizza which is a big ask once you move from the northeast to SC...however, you have nailed it. Perfect toppings to sauce to crust ratio. First time I have ordered a large pizza since moving here that felt like a true large. Have been hearing how great Idiot Pizza is for almost 12 years but could never try it until today because I can't eat dairy...man I was missing out. Please keep this dairy free cheese as a menu option so I can keep coming back :)

Village has been one of my favorite spots since I was 16. I had the pleasure of working with them for many years and enjoyed every minute of it. Fresh dough, produce and toppings. Locally owned and operated. The owners are absolutely phenomenal and give back to the community. My family and I still order from the Forest Drive location, regularly. My almost 13 year old has made it very clear that Village Idiot is her FAVORITE pizza in Columbia. Loving the new menu items as well!

First time customer and highly disappointed. Ordered (door dash) small Greek salad and in pictures what I received vs what they advertise. I didn’t get no pepperocini, no caper, 2 thin slices of tomatoes, very little soggy lettuce and that cheese not even feta and it cost $7.55. I didn’t even eat it planking on taking it back tomorrow. Also pizza was very bland taste and I didn’t get my extra cheese on pizza either. I know food cost is at its high but I spent $47 and even if it is high for cash prices still, if I was served that salad as dining in there would be a problem. Very disappointed

We have been visiting here happily for the past few months on Wednesday nights for their BOGO pizza. The price point is great for families with kids. The service is always pleasant, on the phone and in person. Nice selection of toppings for any palate. 4 stars for lack of salt in crust which is a preference.

Very Nasty!!!!! They do not use gloves!!!!! Touched pizza with bare hands, and when told we didn’t want the pizza anymore after he finished making it with his bare hands he continued to take the toppings off and clean off the tomatoes to be placed back to be used again!!! I wish I could do no stars. Very rude when asked if they use gloves. I highly recommend for people to not go to this place. ALSO beware of the stars do not let them fool you! Name of restaurant serves as a purpose.

I’m giving three stars or equivalent to a 6.1 because the flavor of the dough and sauce and cheese are great However I personally dislike canned ingredients, and as the pineapple & jalapeño were canned not fresh. I ordered a pizza with pepperoni jalapeño and pineapple. I know not everyone cares about these things but I think fresh ingredients can make or break a pizza..... so if they had used some fresh jalapeño and at least frozen pineapple instead of canned - this would have been an 8.3 pizza. Good but has the potential to be so much better!

This was the worst pizza ever. Ordered large pepperoni pizza. Pizza had 6 pepperoni on it. 3 slices had no pepperoni at all. I guess it's all about making money. Also ordered garlic knots. They reminded me of Elemay clampits cookies. My dogs wouldn't eat them. They were so hard u had to have a hammer to break them open. Lots of friends told me to try it. Won't happen again. Live less than 1/2 mile away. Had to order dinner from another restaurant for dinner. I wasted $50.00 on this meal.
