Montego Bay Bar And Grill

I stopped in while I was in town looking for some flavor. Found Legacy. Quick service. Food looked great. Taste was good,I was expecting a little more intense flavor but over all it was good. Oxtails were very tender. Plantains cooked perfect. The facility is a great party hangout place large bar, pool tables and outdoor seating . My only complaint the Ginger beer had zero sugar which gave it a odd taste.

This My second time here to a disappointment. I wish this establishment give ppl fresh food. I mean everything fresh to go, and not cooked then perhaps sitting for a long periods of time then heated up in the microwave. If I wanted microwaved food I know where to go and not having to pay almost 20.00 a plate. I appreciate the establishment, has music to vibe w and sit down and eat, ppl are kool. But come folks don't know what ppl are going through and just want a fresh hot meal. My food was partly hot and some cold, the chicken was not jerk chicken not spicy jerk at all, and was dry, the Mac an dry cheese😁 no please! Fresh Mac and cheese please, thank you!oh the beans and rice was nuked too and the rice was not fully cooked like eating popcorn. You can tell the food is put in the microwave from the bottom of the styrofoam plate. That's why I posted that pic w the styrofoam plate , the plate starts to melt and draw up looking hard. I do not use the microwave, if I thought I'd be buying food that's been cooked and then put in microwave what's the point. Please give ppl especially your ppl what they are paying for. Not food reheated in the microwave partially hot partially cold food/partially warm dry food. My thing is would you eat this, I mean if a server served you some old dry mac and cheese or food that been sitting and had to reheat it in the microwave. It's very hot outside so, food is not the same after certain period of time. I work hard for My money, and like to think to spend it in the community I live in or passing through. But when this has happened more than once to insult My intelligence. I doing My best not to take it personally. I had a very simple order.

Order jerk chicken & cattleman wings. As you can see my wings looked nor tasted like what I paid for. The oxtails were tough and had a tangy taste. First and last time ever eating there again. The only thing was great about my experience was the customer service! This is not a legit Jamaican restaurant 😒

My husband and I go here quite often. Food is always good but slow preparation. Sometimes service is also slow but this last visit we had Brittney as our server and she was awesome. Wonderful personality and great service. These are the type of people who should be working with people, not people who hate their jobs or don't like dealing with the public! Thanks to Brittney for making our date night a pleasant one!

First the food was AMAZING! We have been coming here for years yet Our waitress Britt C. Was the best waitress we’ve had hands down! She suggested the carribean egg rolls which were so good! She got us refills when asked. She was personable, she talked and laughed with us. She told us about specials and anything else we didn’t even know we needed to know. Our food was hot and timely. She definitely made tonight a great experience and we will continue to come back and I’m just gonna outright ask for Her next time lol. Wonderful service and a great experience!

I know it’s suppose to be jerk chicken , but burnt chicken? My husband and I had been visiting this place since we moved to South Carolina 2 years ago and it was always our favorite. We visited the restaurant tonight and was talked to poorly by the cashier at the front, my chicken was burnt and both of our rice had hard pieces throughout the dish. I will visit again but I just hope it’s better than this experience .

A Ghetto trashy place! Save your money and go to a classier establishment. Manager is extremely unprofessional in addition to the staff. I will never return! They tried to charge us twice on duplicate tickets.Waitress was inattentive, drinks were watered down and the food was garbage. The Jerk chicken was burnt and my cabbage was hard. The only thing truly edible was the plantains. Save yourself money and a headache. Avoid at all cost!
