I really wanted to like it but it's just ok. I got the oxtails and they came with mac and cheese and green beans. I wish I could have picked my sides but I was told no. The oxtails had good flavor but where too "firm" aka tough. I'm used to them falling off the bone. The mac and cheese was bland and a little dry. It wasn't creamy at all. The green beans had 0 flavor. It's like they poured them out of the can and heated them up and that's all they did to them. The turkey wings were ok. Not fried too hard but really salty. If my oxtails wouldn't have rice to go along with the dinner I still would have been hungry because I didn't finish eating the mac, green beans or the wings. And lastly the "mudd" was pretty good but was not what I was excepting. I was thinking dark and a little thicker like mud or a smoothie but it reminded me of lemonade tea and I love a Aronld Palmer. Spent too much money for it to be just ok.

Visited on 2 dollar Tuesday ordered 2 wings and the shrimp pasta. My partner ordered 2 wings and Mac and cheese. We waited about 15 minutes to receive our food before I ordered the 7 dollar shrimp pasta I inquired about the size and was told it was big enough to be eaten on its on but not big enough to get full on. When received it had about 2 and 1/2 shrimp that were cut up onion and sauce that’s it and was so small that I would not have charged more than 3 dollars for it and that’s being generous. It tasted like vinegar and pepper. The wings were not very flavorful at all as well. I reached out to them about the 7 dollar pasta that was worth less and never received a response back so on top of it not being that great the customer service was poor.

I've been here quite a few times and have tried various things on the menu. The food is usually amazing but there have been a few occasions where the flavor wasn't there. The turkey wings are really good and that sauce.... Just try it! It's not a sit down restaurant so be prepared to take your order to go. I've heard some people say the area is a little sketchy but I've always felt safe there, so that's just a matter of opinion. Order in advance if you don't want to wait, they can be a little busy at times. Definitely a local take out place to check out!

Great food and great service. I had turkey wangs, not wings, in the South when their good, we call em' wangs! Hands down, best turkey wings ever!!! If you haven't tried them, go get some and don't forget that sauce!!! You won't be disappointed, it's something on the menu for everyone, from comfort food to healthy options. The wait time can be lengthy but well worth the wait, quality fresh food!!! It's awesome to see how dedicated the owner is, support black businesses!

The shrimp Tacos are great. The chicken wraps was great. Only thing that stopped me from giving 5 stars is that when I got home. I didn't have my Turkey wings. And that was my main reason for going. It was pretty busy so shame on me for not double checking my order. But the other food made up for it. Will definitely go back again. I was looking at the screen of some of the other foods at this place. I could probably eat here every day. Please get a bigger resturant were people can come and sit down to eat.
