I'm not familiar very with Korean food (I had to Google Kimchi) and I am only a casual fan of Mexican food (after 5 years of spanish in college, sometimes I pronounce "Nachos" ,"Nachoos", don't ask) . The idea of combining the two cultural foods seemed intriguing (to my girlfriend at least) so we went in. I liked the name Seoul Taco. ( I did wonder silently if the name Seoul Food would have been better but perhaps that is cultural copyright infringement). Upon entering I did not realize the number of people sitting at tables without food (more later). It's a repurposed older building which combines the character of the original brick and mortar walls with postmodern art work, low light and a darkened ceiling that hides the industrial look of the duct work that hangs from above. You can eat in but this is fast food (which ironically turned out to be slow food). The tables are aligned close to the two exits which made it uncomfortably cold (I found myself wishing the artsy fartsy fireplace was an actual fireplace). There are no servers and the post apocalyptic covid staff struggled to provide basic services like cleaning tables and replacing the drink fountain carbon tanks. Yes understaffed restaurants are the new reality. For the uninitiated be prepared to provide uncompensated labor when you eat out. The overworked slaves, sorry i meant staff, were friendly and professional you could see the two man team working diligently preparing orders. We ordered two of the Munchwrap Seoul Supremes with Bulgogi Steak , Chips and Qeuso and Pot Stickers (Stop judging we were hungry). The wait began. As we waited we watched comically as the plexiglass designed to protect us from covid fomites and such spontaneously imploded in cacophonous protest to the rediculousness of it all. The wait wasn't bad. I was encouraged as the other unenraged patrons did not grab their torches and pitchforks. They were peacefully unbothered by the wait. 40 minutes and three poured out uncarbonated drinks later we received our food. The Munchwrap was flavorful with a semi zesty/sweet taste. The refried beans did overpower the taste a bit. My girlfriend suggested I eat it upside-down (bean side up) which resolved the issue. I also thoroughly enjoyed the Pot Stickers. I was too full to try the Chips and Qeuso but it looked like standard Chips and Queso. All in all the experience was good.

Stopped at Seoul Taco with my husband and kids on our way across the state. First, I loved the old building mixed with modern pop artwork. I wasn't sure if my picky eaters would be down for Asian fusion (they voted for the golden arches, bleh), but my daughter loved the quesadilla and my son ate 2 of his 3 tacos (minus the greenery he asked my to remove)! I ate his greens as a salad and shared the Munch Wrap Supreme with my husband, along with the Gogi & Waffles. I. Am. So. Full. We'll definitely be back never time we're in town

so good. (kimchi fried rice, grilled meat, cheese, sauce… literally nothing can go wrong) ordered once in-store, and once via website and i can tell that it’s so much better when you get it fresh. if you don’t happen to order online, make sure to go right after you place the order. it says an estimated time, but from my experience, they usually make it right when they get the order. but definitely go try them out if you’re haven’t!! you’re definitely missing out

Tacos were really yummy. We had the slaw and pot stickers too. All good stuff.

Super delicious. I am a huge fan of the Chicken Tacos! The sauce they put on the tacos are amazing. The Tacos and Gogi Bowl are kind of sweet and savory. This place is great for a good and quick bite to eat.

Had the gogi rice bowl with chicken. Better than I expected, but wished there’s a little bit of kimchi included (didn’t realize had to pay extra). The chicken had really good flavor though, and they didn’t skimp on the gochujang paste. Great option for fast food korean food downtown.

I really enjoyed my meal here. This was my first trip and the staff was super helpful in walking me through the options. I had a Gogi Bowl with the steak option and it was delicious. (I do wish my egg has been over easy, I don’t remember being asked.) The lettuce was fresh, the dressing was great, a bit light on quantity but that’s a personal preference, and when mixed with the gochujang paste spicy and very delicious. Looking forward to trying other options on the menu in the future.

This place has so much potential. But it was pretty disappointing. The rice was mushy and bland, the order was wrong on two of the four dishes we ordered and the lettuce was a miss in the dishes we had.
The spice was nice in the burritos and the galbi was seasoned well but the rice made us both want to not finish the meal. I know Korean food and loved in Seoul for three years, I've eaten Korean/Mexican fusion both in the states and Korea so I know the potential is there. Hopefully they figure it out.
