Pretty expensive but the service there is really good and they tend to still have stuff on their shelves while other stores in the area have been ransacked by college students. There's great variety in their liquor department in the prices in that department are pretty reasonable. The quality of their meat and their baked goods is very good. In some cases you get what you pay for. Overall I give it a 4.25 out of five.

This store has always done a fine job. The shelves were barren in certain item categories like bread but that seems to be typical of most grocery stores presently.
This store is clean and in my experience the staff has been helpful & friendly. Plus, this location has a restaurant attached to it if that is of interest to you.

We ordered our wedding cake from Baker Paula at Hy-vee on Nifong and the cake was beautiful and delicious! The cake looked like Mediterranean tiles to fit in with our wedding theme and had a wonderful raspberry filling. There weren't a lot of leftovers!

We love Hy-Vee for groceries, but their bakery also did a fantastic job last year with our wedding cake and cupcakes (designed by Paula). Not only did everything look amazing, but we also received many compliments on how delicious they were!

The meal I got at the “Hot and fresh” section of the deli was delicious! I got a bit of fried rice, a bit of noodles and also some General Tso chicken and peppered chicken with peppers and onions. 😋 So good!

Great selection of fruits, vegetables, meats, cheese, and dry goods. Not to mention the hot ready to eat section of the deli...

After being gone for a couple of years and experiencing places like Lucky's Market, Publix, Kroger, and many more, HyVee brand just doesn't stand. And they've gotten extremely expensive, they used to be reasonable. I'll never come to another again.

I drove (school bus) our FFA team here during state convention for lunch. Plus food was taken back to others at the Hearnes Center who were saving our seats.
Great way to feed so many.
