Whole Foods Market

I went to whole foods to return an item to Amazon. The young lady in customer service, Shannon, was wonderful. She took the time to walk me over to the kiosk (which was not in an intuitive location) and helped me with the app. The kiosk encountered an error and was not able to print the needed label. Shannon then took over and we walked back to customer service where she completed the transaction for me. That was customer service- the entire time she was pleasant and cordial. The experience was very nice and she made the difference. Thank you Shannon for exemplifying what customer service should be! You did an excellent job of representing whole foods

2 years ago I gave them 5 stars. Today 2022 three stars. Quality of food has decreased, especially bakery department. Ingredients are lower quality that is embellished with too much sugar in products. Overall appearance of deserts in the case not as appetizing to the eye. Gourmet delicate dessert are no longer at whole foods.

This place is always bustling with people. They don't offer much variety at the hot food bar, which is expensive. They do offer a variety of options elsewhere. I wish they had more sales. Parking is sufficient, and I can always get a cart. The self-serve line was too long! Maybe they should consider having more than one.

Columbia Wholefoods is well run and i perfer it much to the Annapolis Wholefoods which i also frequent in my travels. In a comparison of cooked food to go, Columbia has a salad and hot bar which has fresher and a better selection and better maintained then Annapolis. And also they are better at making pizza by the slice than the Annapolis store. The pizza in Annapolis always looks like it was made by someone untrained in making pizza and often looks like it's been sitting there all day. So in this regard i think the Columbia store is much better run than the Annapolis Wholefoods.

Whole Foods itself is great. Giving lowest rating because the past five times I have been, at least one handicap parking spot is taken by the amazon food delivery. Clearly they need a loading zone or a dedicated parking spot, and that’s fine! But the handicap parking spot is NOT a loading zone, and has forced us to park in the next row multiple times. Get your delivery people a dedicated loading zone and get out of the handicap parking spots.

Location is huge. My favorite location in MD. Always place a order at PLNT burger and then shop and pick up when done. If it’s nice outside you can grab a bite and sit out at the park while the kids play at the playground and look out at the water. There a live concerts too during the summer so you can always enjoy that. Just an overall nice atmosphere and place to be ☺️

I'd give it 0⭐ if I could. Bought a $70 corned beef (missing the seasoning packet) and returning it was one of the worst shopping experiences in my long life. Management and customer service were rude to the level of nasty. Bakery items are outrageously overpriced. The food bar ... I wouldn't touch it. Veggies are fresh (take out a loan before shopping), the pizza looks good and isn't expensive, and they carry a lot of organic healthy food. But management is so bad ... I'll take my money elsewhere.
