Rise Southern Biscuits & Righteous Chicken

First let me say the food is great. Chicken is moist and the biscuits are fluffy. Would recommend getting a sauce since if can be a little dry. The issue is the service. They can be a little slow. Every time I there it takes 10-20 minutes to get food. People usually are just standing there waiting for food. They have online ordering but I've seen them waiting as well. I would recommend ordering online and taking your time to get the food.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR VISIT. Find another Rise location. The service is absolutely atrocious. It is THE reason this establishment will not be visited in the future. Situation: Came in 30 minutes after opening and it took them 8 minutes to greet or wait on me. I was the only customer. Waiter was obviously tired and behind on his opening duties. After getting food he came out and began talking politics and world affairs in a COMPLETELY inappropriate manner. I could not believe the amount of racism he was saying as an African American. He actually used the word lynched. Absolutely inappropriate. I completely agree with other reviews that this business is completely mismanaged and cannot hire quality employees to represent the brand. It was so bad, I contacted the franchise. It is such a shame, because this is one of a small handful of “chain” restaurants we visit. The sandwich was assembled sloppy and the wrapper was covered in grease. Also, with only one customer they actually got my order incorrect...there is no attention to detail at this location. I was the only person with an order and it was wrong. The floors were also dirty just after opening, I very much question the entire process and will not return to this location. The eat in section is extremely small but in good weather the patio in front is large.

I love the food at Rise! each member of our family has a favorite: my son loves the Righteous Chicken biscuit, my daughter the apple fritter, my husband the biscuit and gravy with eggs, and I love the friend green tomato sandwich and the creme brûlée donut! The staff is very helpful and the food is fresh and delicious. We love it and wish it were closer to our home!

Very pleased with our first visit. I got the chicken biscuit and ham biscuit...both were amazing. My kids gave the donuts thumbs up. My wife liked her avocado biscuit. Place was surprisingly well for having just opened. Only down side is that seating is very limited - 4 outside tables and a few stools inside. We got a table, but a lot of people were sitting on the curb eating.

This place is amazing,and the customer service is the best,not sure if the man there is the manager(African american)didn't get his name but he is very helpful and displays great customer service.i have so many of the items one the menu to many to list but my favorites are the Southern chicken sandwich,biscuit and gravy add sausage and the BLUEBERRY BISCUIT IS THE BEST

Do not visit this location unless you have loads of time to waste. The food is good but it certainly should not take 45 min (no exaggeration) for two biscuits and tots. When you walk in there is an option to order from the kiosk or “human” as the sign said. NOT ONCE did anyone approach the register to take an order. Customers were left no choice but to order from the kiosk. No one even greeted customers as they walked in. Had I known it would’ve taken 45min for breakfast I would’ve went to a sit down restaurant. When I finally did get my food it wasn’t even hot.... I waited 45min for luke warm food and was disappointed. Staff seemed unenthused and didn’t engage with customers. Some things can be blamed on the pandemic but poor customer service cannot.

Fast service , but when I got home and opened the bag.. it was worse than five guys grease! Grease soaking everywhere. I ordered a Iced donut and all the icing was melted onto the bag. My chicken biscuit was soggy as well. Only thing I could eat was the fries. Was really looking forward to this. Sucks.
