Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams

Very creative, offering unique, one of a kind flavors! I've never had one that I didn't like.. They are all really good! Its great, for a summer day, to get Jeni's and then stroll through Schiller Park.. I gave 4 stars because their pricing is a little over the top in my opinion. Its like $7, I'm pretty sure, for 2 scoops. Kinda ridiculous. Great ice cream, just expensive.

Jeni's in German Village is the cutest little walk-up window ice cream spot! There weren't many flavors to choose from but honestly, I've always believed in quality over quantity. The Honey Vanilla Bean ice cream was sooo good. I've never tasted vanilla ice cream that was so truly authentic. I chose to add rainbow sprinkles but I almost wish I hadn't - the ice cream was the star all on its own. That said, the waffle bowl was fantastic too! I could smell the waffle smell as I was walking down the street and it was mesmerizing. Definitely a great little spot to stop at, especially on a beautiful, sunny day!
