Bareburger - Short North

Food and service were amazing. We didn't seek this place out; it found us! A group of us were doing the escape room next door and spotted this restaurant. As an avid bear lover, I couldn't not eat here!! The bear decor was phenomenal, and the manager (unfortunately we didn't get his name). Will definitely be going again!

Incredible place to hang out. We visited twice during our time in Columbus. The first time we ate. We had to wait awhile for the rest of our party to arrive. The staff was kind and courteous while we waited. They kept our glasses filled and checked in on us. For lunch we had a phenomenal burger called the National which was made with Wagyu with a side of Fries upgraded to the Spicy Bacon Ranch Style. The fries were incredible and I couldn't stop eating them. My wife chose to build her own burger going with beef, blue cheese and bacon along with a side of regular fries. She enjoyed her burger and loved the fries. The fries at Bareburger are amazing. Whether you get the regular or upgraded version they are cooked to perfection. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The second time we visited we just stopped in for a couple of drinks in the early afternoon. The staff were pleasant and engaged in nice conversation with us. The atmosphere was inviting, quiet, and relaxing.

Got dinner here while in town for a convention. The staff here is very attentive, the full bar is quick, the food is delicious. The atmosphere is cozy casual but the table service is more akin to a fancier restaurant. The restaurant was packed with a very large birthday party, but it never seemed to impact our wait times. I would recommend the elk burger, it was juicier and more flavorful than the average.
