Hounddog's Three Degree Pizza

We loved Hounddog's so much we got it twice while visiting for three weeks in Columbus. The first time we dined in and received great service and found the food to be incredibly good. I had the buffalo wings and stuffed mushrooms in addition to the Supreme Dog. I love a pizza with EVERYTHING...and this one did not disappoint. We had two pizzas delivered the next time, pepperoni and another Supreme Dog, of course. Delivery was fast and pizza was still very good and hot.

The food is great and I highly recommend their house made Hot Buffalo sauce on either their pizza or your wings. Their twice baked potato skins are phenomenal and are filled with: cheese, queso, bacon, and chives. We keep coming back though for the wings because they are crispy, can be offered unbreaded and the house made sauces pair nicely.

Great quality pizza. My kids loved it. They also liked the atmosphere of the place and the drawings on the wall. I ordered the chicken wings. They weren't that good, tasted like the fryer oil hadn't been changed in a while. Overall, it was a great place to get pizza. I'd stay away from the appetizers, though. In particular anything fried.

Hounddog’s is an institution (next to an institution - OSU)! And it is the BEST PIZZA IN THE WORLD!!! I am a long time fan of this pizza. A little more about the pizza. It is unique - you get the option of selecting from 3 differs levels of base sauce (I usually get howling hot - yeah, the spiciest) and an option for smoking joe’s crust (garlicky deliciousness!). I take it to next level with choice of awesome toppings. I would be heartbroken if this place ever went outta biz. Luckily it has been there for decades and I hope that continues. I’ll take pics of the inside in my next trip snd post it. For now, it’s my review and few pics that are takeout. If you are in USA or in Ohio, it’s well worth your time to get this unbelievable pizza. Happy eating!

My partner and I visited today for the second time. We are from out of town and came here last year after reading great reviews. The pizza was excellent, but the service is the real reason we came back. Our server, Star, is professional, personable, and sweet as (pizza) pie. She left a lasting impression and we just had to come back and see her after visiting the city again. There simply aren't enough Stars for this review!

This is a hidden gem in downtown Columbus. The food was amazing, staff was friendly & the decor is very cool. We were there after an OSU game let out so the crowd was rowdy but it was great if you're fun! Delicious pizza! 😋 Prices are fairly reasonable for good sized portions. Everything was clean & despite the crowd Everything came out in a timely manner. Parking lot located behind restaurant which is nice.
