Min-ga Korean Restaurant

Literally my favorite restaurant in Columbus. I go almost every week. Been taking different friends with me and most of them love it too (to the extent that I would later run into them bringing their friends here). I tried lots of dishes there, and I love almost all of them (not the beef intestine hotpot... intestine is a nay for me). Fish are cRIspY, BBQs are 🤌, and soups! Soups! Souuuuuuuups are guuuuuud 🥹 The blood sausage, pork feet and Korean roll seem to be friendly too, like my Midwest white friend didn't find them challenging. Two of us adults would spend about $60 there and the leftover is usually enought for another meal for two. Double bless. Side dishes are delicious, freshly house made and can change seasonally. I really enjoy coming and trying them out, it's like opening blind boxes. Plus the staff are nice and considerate.

October 2023 Fantastic food! Welcoming staff! Fish-cake udon noodle soup, kimchi dumplings, barley tea ( bori-cha) and "little bowls" ( ban-chan)--all delicious. See photos. This place completely blew my tiny mind. My GF and I waltzed into this humble establishment not entirely knowing what to expect… and I’m not exaggerating when I say it might be one of the best places I’ve gotten food from in my entire life. Certainly one of the best in Columbus. I highly recommend. Please do yourself a favor and go, just go and be happy.

Had a great experience at Min-ga. Surprisingly I haven't been to Min-ga in almost 6 years. Their selection of Korean foods are more like the ones you would eat at home in Korea, so it was a great welcome since I haven't had a home-cooked korean meal in a while. Had the jajangmyun, yookgah Jang, and a mixed rice dish in a hot stone pot. All the foods were good, jajangmyun was a little too "healthy" tasting for me but still good. Service was super friendly even at the end of the night. Definitely going to be returning and would recommend to others.
