I ordered through DoorDash and the food still arrived warm and was very good. I got the chicken tikka masala with a spice level 2. It was definitely spicy! We got the plain and garlic naan. I wasn’t very impressed with the quality of the naan, it was a bit dry and bland. The portion sizes were rather small for the price.

This review is going to get a bit emotional and personal so sorry in advance! I’ve only lived in Columbus a few months, my partner and I often order food on UberEats. We were disappointed by the last Indian place we had tried, so I was hesitant. A little background, I have an eating disorder. Meals are often a battle so it’s often easier to just order something that my partner knows I’m not going to argue about and will at least eat a reasonable portion of. We’ve tried a few Indian places, but were disappointed by the last one we tried. I was hesitant, but boy was I happy I decided we should order from New Taj Mahal! I always get either the Palak Paneer or the mixed Tandoori! We love that you can choose the spice level! And the rice pudding? INCREDIBLE! I’m not exaggerating when I say that I was having such a bad food day and didn’t want to eat when I tried my first bite of Tandoori, I cried a little. It’s amazing that I’ve found somewhere local that has such amazing food and that has become my new safe go-to. Thanks, New Taj Mahal! You rock! P.S. Don’t forget to try the mango lassi! It’s life-changing!

First time eating here and it was better than we expected. We love Indian food and have been looking for a good affordable local place. The PRICES here are a bit expensive if your not sharing an entree OR if your trying to only spend $12-$15 for a single person meal. We shared 1 order of vegetable samosas, garlic naan, daal soup and the shrimp korma and It ran us $34 + tip. If you get more than one entree it’ll definitely be more expensive. The shrimp was very juicy and the naan was incredible. We were actually the only ones in the restaurant so I’m not sure how the place is when it’s busier. We’ll definitely be back to try more. Our waiter was great as well. We parked near some house 3 minutes away and walked.

This place serves a good Indian Lunch Buffet. I like this place as it has many options to try from. The food taste is good overall, can’t complain if some items do not taste very good. It is never very crowded and accessible. The flavors are good. The service is also good. If you wanna try more Indian dishes in one time, go for their lunch buffet. My go to place for good Indian food!
