Cerrone's Brick Oven Pizzeria

Was hankering for a brick oven pizza. Found this place in northern Columbus. We were greeted immediately upon arrival, and remarked how empty the place was ( we arrived at 6pm). We were immediately sat and ordered within a few minutes. Through the time we enjoyed our meal, at least 25 take out orders were picked up and the place was packed. Great pizzas, quick service, you can see the brick oven in the back! I don't know what wizardry they manage with their sauce, but it's literally drinkable. So amazing. Strong recommendations on the Margherita add bacon and pepperoni. You'll love it!

*Read this, my family is from Brooklyn, New York* Pizza is excellent, sauce is good, cheese is fantastic and dough seems spot on. Also the mozzarella caprese was excellent as well. Staff was friendly, and the food was fast. Awesome place and pretty close to getting a New Style pie in New York. However, after I wrote this review I ordered a Cannoli. The Cannoli was really hard, not how it's supposed to be. The ricotta cheese inside was pretty good though.

my family and I have been coming here for about three years now, and for good reason. we absolutely love it. I can say without a doubt that this is our favorite pizza place, easily that best pizza I’ve had in my life. my mother and I come here weekly to eat and relax, and the environment does provide the atmosphere. we love the staff and always feel welcome. incredibly friendly and open. 10/10 would recommend :) ps. An hour and fifteen minutes total wait from the time I ordered online. Thirty minutes past the time it was read when I placed the order. No one came to apologize for the delay, or to check on us. My husband went to the back area twice to see the two cashiers and the manager not helping, but distracting the people cooking. And two of our pizzas were incorrect according to the menu. The first picture is "supposed" to be a supreme and the second is the margherita. This is our third or fourth time getting pizza from here and I'm pretty disappointed in the service tonight. I understand it's the night before a holiday, but it somewhat deters me from wanting to come again.

Stopped by for lunch with my son today while letting him play hooky from school and let him have a fun day. We have been wanting to try it out for a while, but always forgot about it. When we walked in, you could tell it was going to be something special, just from the "vibe" and looks of the place. If you are a pizza connoisseur, the menu will be a pleasant surprise alone, based on the wide variety. I've always been a huge fan of Mellow Mushroom's Buffalo Chicken pizza with bacon. So, with that high standard, I ordered a small version of it here, and my son went with the old reliable small pepperoni. I ordered the cheesy bread to snack on while we waited. Great cheesy bread, and I happened to notice the Nutella Pie on the dessert menu, and right below it, I saw the same but in a calzone. I ordered both to go for some sweet snacks later. A short wait later, our pizza arrived, and the presentation was spot on. I waited patiently a bit for it to cool off, and so did my son. We've been burned enough to know better 🤣. It surely was worth it. They nailed it, because the crust isn't as thick and the flavor is perfect. I think they just edged out my all-time favorite. Evan agreed with me. The small is enough for 2 people, as it comes as 4 large slices. We both took half home, along with half of the cheezy bread and desserts.I can't comment on those yet, as we ate the leftover pizza and cheezy bread for supper and can't eat anymore. I was a bit disappointed that I didnt get the Nutella Calzone that I ordered, as it was a normal one. The Nutella Pie looks simply AMAZING with the chocolate sauce, fresh strawberries, and bananas. I forsee a carb coma after that sweet breakfast tomorrow morning. My insulin pump will definitely be getting a workout with that to start the day! 💪🏾🙌🏽👏🏼 You guys NAILED it, overall. We will be regulars for sure.
