Best soul food in town I’ve been coming to ROYAL CAFE since the early 90s. I love this place!! Great food friendly staff A+++ SERVICE ......it takes time to get your food on certain days so call ahead if your on your lunch break it’s worth the wait !! 🙏🏻😇💯

This was the salmon cakes, mustard greens, rutabagas, and dry lima beans. Corn muffin and blackberry cobbler. Too good to stop.

Enjoyed my lunch very well at Royal Cafe. They always have great food and a lot of it. My fried pork chop was delicious and of course I have to have their candied yams. The mustard greens and lima beans were real tasty. Round that out with fried cornbread, sweet tea and some blackberry cobbler. Super good 👍.

We love to come here for good ol' fashion southern food. Can be busy but don't let it discourage you... it is well worth it. Local family owned for years and we love the food. This was a good taste of Southern home cooking. They were busy and it took a while to get served. The food was great and the price was reasonable. I rated them down to 4 because of their facilities. They could really use an update.

This is in no way, your ordinary dine-in restaurant with table service. It is definitely a different yet unique experience. The bartender this day(Erica, I think), was very knowledgeable about drinks and makes the best Bloody Mary I've ever had. She was very personable and went above and beyond. I will definitely be back.

This place is the real deal when it comes to Southern home cooking. I've lived in Columbus basically my whole life and I don't remember a time it wasn't here. The food is fresh, never frozen, and delicious. The menu changes daily, but for the regular lunch you choose a meat and three sides, plus bread and a dessert! There is also the option of a veggie plate.

First time here and this place is a small gem! Food was phenomenal and perfectly priced. The pound cake at the end sealed the deal. I will be back whenever I'm in Columbus!It was good. Friendly fun staff. I absolutely loved the sticky notes everywhere. The ice cream was almost too cold lol if that's possible.
