Luciana's Mexican Restaurant & Cantina

The salsa is great and has a little kick. They have a nice patio to enjoy when the weather is nice. I ordered a grilled burrito that was beef, beans, and cheese. It was supposed to come with verde on the side, but it didn’t, however the waitress quickly brought it when I asked. The prices are higher than most Mexican restaurants. If you are going to charge more than everywhere else the food needs to be GREAT and it was just ok, that’s why I only gave four stars. Our server was awesome and did a great job. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back here unless someone I was with picked this place. It just didn’t live up to the standard for being so overpriced.

Everything was salty. Chips tasted and looked old. Salsa was good not great with 2 inch chunks of onion. queso was good. My daughter ordered the street taco combo which would have been good but it had about a cup of cilantro on each taco. Rice was good beans were too salty couldn’t eat and I love beans. Corn tortillas were bitter tasting. They seemed maybe authentic or home made but wasn’t a fan of the taste. Service was great but couldn’t get over the taste

The last time we went we picked the spot since it was open till 10 and it was about 9:15 when we reached lucianas. However, the server came and asked us if we needed boxes just few minutes after serving the food. If time was an issue, I sincerely wish they had just told us that they wouldn’t take anymore customers at that time. The ambience is great, the flavor of food is mediocre. The chips and salsa is good
