This has always been one of my favourite noodle places in Perth. But due to unforeseen circumstances haven’t been here for more then a year.
Nothing has changed this place still makes really tasty and yummy hand made noodles. With prices starting from $7.50 it is damn friendly in the wallet as well. This place is definitely in contention for best value food in Perth!!
Have tried plenty of their different offerings in the past and it does not disappoint. Definitely will make the effort to come back 🔜 as it has been way too long not to have eaten here..

Super delicious!!! High recommend the radish rice rolls and fish soup. Portions are huge as well. Only thing is they’re so popular the queue can get a little crazy and things can run out quickly, so highly recommend you visit at a quieter time or earlier in the day. Definitely food that I will crave, will be back for sure! :-)

Wise woman (my wife) say...if eating place got long queue, then it must be good. Well I must admit she is right (mostly)! Each time we came here it was bustling even though we came after what we thought was people's lunch hour. I think here people eat all the time! Anyway, despite the queue the food was delightful and my wife loves their big pao - I only got to try a quarter of the big pao which she cut out for me at home. Despite the crowd the auntie at the shop will try her best to get a table for you, which I am thankful for. We live NOR but whenever the opportunity presents itself we will make our way here.

3.5 stars.
Good value for quick meal or noodles lovers.
Environment: small shop with minimal decor. Very causal setting- a sense of hawker's stall in Malaysia. Just a few tables indoor and outdoor. Rather packed. Have to share long table with others. Came before 12noon weekday, still could find a table. Always a lot of people lining up. There is a self service corner next to the entrance without any obvious notice or sign. Clean place with toilet. Park at street or opposite carpark (free). Came again late Saturday afternoon, was seated. The owner was nice --- 6.5/10
Service: Grab the menu at front desk and find a table first, the order and pay (tell which table) at front desk. Super busy, but food served very fast unexpectedly. As busy, Staff are task-oriented, not so attentive, but in good manner. Two kinds Malaysian style spicy seaoning are available on each table or self service corner. Get utensils/ cutlery, water and Chili (+/- tissues) at self service corner. --- 6.8/10
Food: normal presentation. Good price. Good portion. Good quality of homemade noodles. Rice is also available. Would like to come again to try other dishes.
- Pan Mian, Dry, $9.5/regular: the freshly hand cut homemade flat rice noodles were slightly sticky, became ok after stir up with fillings immediately. BBQ Pork slices were good in texture. There is Minced Pork with dried anchovies, vegetables and chili flakes. Full of flavors --- 7.7/10
- Barramundi Fish Wings Vermicelli Soup, $14.5: Chinese name on menu is not Fish wings? Options for Clear or Milky Soup. There were 4 big fish Wing- good quantity and quality. Milky soup contains tomatoes and preserved vegetables, so a bit sour. Not fishy. Vermicelli was cooked well. --- 7.4/10
- Fried Radish Cake Roll炒豬腸粉, $8: not sure radish in it. Likely rice rolls. Stir- fried wita a lot of egg. Not bad. --- 7/10
- Sarawak Laksa, $14.5: regular portion. There were 3 small prawns, very finely shredded chicken breast, shredded egg, bean sprouts and vermicelli. Served with chili sauce. Prawns were over-cooked. The broth was good. --- 7.2/10
- Yang Chow Fried Rice, $13.5: Small portion, not good value. Finely chopped BBQ pork, carrots, shrimps and beans. Malaysian style. Well-fried. The runny fried egg was a cold. --- 6.8/10
- Teh C Special, $4/Hot
- Milo, $3.5/Hot: not blend.
- Malaysian Milk Coffee, $4.5/Cold

Dinner catchup with friend. The restaurant was extremely busy with limited seating. Ordering queue took a while but food came out decent timing.
The big bao was a little underwhelming, not as good as we thought. Noodles are quite lovely and the chilli sauce/ oil on the tables were great. The floor was extremely slippery for some reason - I nearly fell slipped and fell.
Generally not a bad place for some decent noodles.

We came in famished and everything was delicious! The portions were pretty big as well and my 5 yo couldn't finish his own pineapple fried rice which was expected. Definitely will come back again to try out its other noodle dishes!!!
Came back 1 week later to try their crispy chicken kolo Mee, big minced meat bao, pig Trotter pan Mian and Malaysian milk coffee. Didn't disappoint at all especially the sauce for the crispy chicken dip, it's so yummy that I poured some on the noodles and it was tastier! (Before it was a bit dry cause not enough sauce)

We are glad that have arrived before 12 noon and get the table within 5 min. It's getting more crowded after 12. Love the noodle and the creamy soup. Reasonable price.

A bowl of oily goodness. Sarawak-style noodles. Pretty tasty and definitely enjoy the Malaysian mee goreng, that charred smell is hard to resist!
