Dough New York Style Bakery

Please!!!! Please!!!! do not buy a birthday cake from this bakery. We bought a birthday cake from this bakery for my grandson's birthday. When we brought the cake home and everyone tasted it, they IMMEDIATELY knew that the cake was made with yellow cake mix from the box, how embarrassing was that. My family and friends bake and buy professional birthday cakes all the time and we all knew that the cake was not homemade and that it was made with store-bought yellow cake mix and store-bought frosting from the can. To make things worse when we cut the cake it was falling apart this cake was horrible and the worse birthday cake I've ever purchased from a so-called professional bakery. This bakery is ripping people off, I wish I would have tried their cake before purchasing a birthday cake from them. Furthermore, I asked them to draw balloons on the cake but instead they put blue M&M's on the cake and drew balloon strings on it with canned frosting. DON'T BUY A BIRTHDAY CAKE FROM THIS BAKERY.... PERIOD.

Have seen mixed reviews. But it all boils down to one thing. How are the bagels? I will go out of my way by 30 minutes to get good bagels. Theirs are the bomb. 5 of 5. Just the right amount of tug. Just the right amount of chew. The only thing I wish is to be first in line when they came out of the oven. These are authentic NY style bagels!

Being a New Yorker living in North Carolina, I was looking for a good northern type Baker (hard to find) to make a cannoli cake for a birthday, unable to find one. After many phone calls around the Charlotte area and with no luck I came across Dough New York, not only could they make one, they did it with short notice. I will say this turned out to be one of best cakes I have eaten since living in NY. The extra cookies and bread were also excellent.

Tried this place for the first time earlier this week (and we’ve been 3 times since then) sad to see the negative google reviews. The bagels are amazing. I don’t like cheesecake, but my partner is a cheesecake fanatic and loved their cheesecake. You can tell it’s a small family owned business , but it’s perfect. Definitely one of our new bagel spots.

Went in here the other it was the first time I’ve seen This place, I seen it when I was visiting e-noodles. Business was very clean ( I know so because I seen him clean everything everything after I touched the payment center). Desert was great my kids and husband loved all of it. If your looking for a good bakery that is FOR SURE following CDC cleaning guidelines and not just saying they are, this is your place. Also I recommend the Manhattan Snow!
