Pickled Cucumber

First time customer to the Pickled Cucumber in downtown Conway. Went with my neighbors who are regular customers. Ordered the Conway Philly Melt which is steak smothered with mayo, onions, peppers provolone cheese served on a hoagie. With side of mac and cheese and of course sweet tea. Excellent lunch time meal will definitely go back.

Their food is as good as my grandmother's homemade southern cuisine. The mac and cheese melts in your mouth while the fried chicken is the best I've ever had. Their chicken 'n' dumplings are homemade authentic comfort food. Always stop on my way to Myrtle Beach and on my way back to visit this mouth-watering delicacy of Southern cuisine.

This was my first time eating here and honestly only came here because I had less than an hour before I had to go back to jury duty and the crafty rooster was closed. I’m so glad I did and stumbled upon this little restaurant! The lunch special of fried chicken with mash, gravy, onions and mushrooms was delicious. The cornbread and Mac and cheese were both a bit meh but the atmosphere and service was wonderful. It’s the kind of cozy little place where you go and feel right at home like you’re sitting right in grandmas kitchen. I will definitely be back
